I've lived at The Grove for quite some time now, and it’s been nothing short of amazing. From day one, the experience has been seamless. I started in a one-bedroom and upgraded to a two-bedroom with ease. The transition was incredibly smooth, and the leasing office was so genuine and personable throughout the process. They really know how to balance running a professional business with maintaining a personable, respectful approach, all while setting clear standards and boundaries.

The maintenance team is on another level – they’re quick, efficient, and always on top of things. It feels like any issue on the property is addressed before I even have a chance to bring it up. The entire staff truly cares about the community and makes sure that everything is taken care of with the utmost attention to detail.

One of the things I love most is the sense of community here. The resident events at the clubhouse are always the best, and the environment is welcoming. All of my neighbors have been so kind, which adds to the overall peaceful vibe. Living here feels like being part of a close-knit family. The Grove is not just an apartment complex to me – it's my home, my sanctuary, my place of peace.

The neighborhood itself is fantastic, with so many great options for shopping, from home decor to fashion, and especially food. It’s the perfect location, close to everything I need and want. Honestly, I can’t recommend The Grove and IDM Properties enough. No matter where you decide to live, IDM ensures you’re taken care of in every way. I’m beyond thankful to call The Grove my home!

Generally good living here but I have some complaints. My unit when I moved in was advertised as recently remodeled. Day one I noticed deep scratches in the floors, and shoddy caulking around trim and in the bathroom. The poor caulking lead to ants getting in over 2 summers, thankfully they had someone come out and take care of the ants.

Overall rules of living here can feel restrictive at times but I don't mind playing ball to avoid fees as I've been in worse and I understand the idea is to strive for good appearances. Grills being no longer allowed on the patios was a sad loss but I accept that. The gate is always broken but I blame the people who've run into the gate more than the property itself.

During my time here all of those things have been tolerable inconveniences that would keep my rating at around a 4 star review. My major complaint is the package concierge. I have had a package stolen and other packages even misplaced, there is a security camera but I come to find that is just for show. While amazon is willing to replace my item, the item I ordered was an expensive gift for my fiancee and I have to wait an additional week for it to arrive. I understand the driver is at some fault for the mismanagement of my package in not following my delivery instructions, but when I asked for help from the office in finding the package I was met with a fairly lack luster "too bad so sad call amazon we know nothing" response. I understand apartment management is probably not the most exciting, but as someone who has worked in service for nearly a decade, the lack of care or even getting up out of one's seat to assist a resident is levels above frustrating.

This isn't always the way it's been when I've gone in for help, but it has been repeated instances now. When I first moved in the people in the office seemed a little more ready and willing to go to greater lengths to help, but tonight and as of late the staff seems almost like they're just mentally begging to not need to get up and help someone. To make a long review short: I'm disappointed, and now feel uncomfortable ordering packages because if the driver doesn't leave it at my door, I can't feel assured that my package will be secure or go without being misplaced. For that, what would have been a 4 star is now 3.

One of the selling points to this property was their allowance of grills in the units. We asked specifically about this before signing the lease and we asked specifically if the model we were planning on buying was acceptable and we got a yes from property management each time. This was a significant factor in our decision to move here. Now we have received a letter saying that we will be in violation of our lease if we do not get rid of that same grill with no compensation for time, expenses, or the clearly diminished value of the dwelling. If this company cannot be trusted to honor their word on this issue, what else can they not be trusted over? What other policies will they sell to people and revoke later? Will they say that they are pet friendly only to insist that if you do not put your dog down within a month you will be in violation of your lease? Trust is important when you have committed over $20,000 a year in an agreement, and we have been badly burned by these people.

Tony was the kindest, most helpful person during the entire move-in process! Not only was the communication clear and always an immediate response, but you could tell he loves doing his job from the extra mile he’s done for us! My husband and I lived here a little over 2 years. The location is perfect, everything is literally minutes away. Portland was 15 min away. We loved the complex, everything was always clean ,neat and tidy. Loved the pool and gym area. If any issue ever came up, staff would take care of it immediately. The staff was always very friendly and flexible. Thank you for a great experience, would definitely recommend 🙂
