I think perhaps in my limited and possibly distorted view I had always thought of pharmacist as kind of fancy pill pushers. I mean, you went in and handed them your prescription and they gave you your pills, or whatever.

Recently, we had to get a specialized prescription for of all things out semi spoiled and slightly ragged feline for which they sent me to a formulary pharmacist, a concept I had no idea even existed. My hackles went up a bit when I discovered how much more this was going to cost then simply dropping by Walmart. In my innocence, I did not see the reason or benefit of such a place.

That brings me to Square Pharmacy where I was greeted by an extremely pleasant pharmacist who thoroughly explained the options and was obviously doing his best to meet our needs.

At first, I was irritated that the formulation of what I assumed was a simple drug was taking more than a couple of days to produce. But when I finally realized what was happening in this process, my attitude changed.

There were some discrepancies in the prescription from our veterinarian and the pharmacist felt he needed to research the product more thoroughly. In other words, he went to the mat for us. He went above and beyond his duty to make sure that we had exactly what the cat needed, bless her little soul.
The pharmacist was friendly, informative, and obviously ruled by an extraordinary and precise sense of duty and honor… Oh! Now I see why this cost more! Ekeya is the perfect pharmacist, he is meticulous and committed, he obviously cares deeply about his clients, even though it might only be a scruffy old cat.

This concept of service has become so rare nowadays, it is what people envision when they think about the greatness of America, a sense of honor and customer care. A concept which, unfortunately has mostly passed away. When we find it, we should treasure it. We should spread the word and support businesses like this with our community dollars.

Here is a man, who I feel I can trust, who I feel would do the right thing for the right reasons instead of simply for money.

Went here for several vaccines. Nice design of the store. Well organized inside. Easy process to send my insurance info. Got explained patiently on each vaccine that I was going to get. If you are near Mill Plain, this pharmacy can be your place to go.

I took my parents for vaccinations at square care pharmacy. Dr. Ike is the most kind and professional PharmD and the service/level of care is something I have never experienced at any pharmacies before. He helped us to get all the needed vaccines at the lowest cost considering my parents have no insurance. The lobby is spacious and very comfortable if short waiting is ever needed. I will switch all our pharm needs to Dr. Ike/Square Care Pharm. I am so happy to find square care pharmacy and look forward to visiting whenever we have the need. I feel so lucky they are in Vancouver!!

I went in to get a vaccine today and had a great experience! The staff and pharmacist were friendly and professional and the facility is very clean and welcoming. I also felt like I got more info about the vaccine itself and the process of getting vaccinated than I have at any other Covid vaccination which wasn't necessary personally, but I liked that that info was shared regardless because anyone doing work to inform people about it and combat misinformation and pseudo-science is a huge plus for me.

Excellent place to get your kid vaccinated with Moderna. Kind and kid friendly staff who helped put my son at ease right away. Make a quick appointment online and there is no wait when you arrive. I just filled out two quick papers and he was vaccinated within a few minutes. We then had to wait ten minutes or so to see if he had a reaction and then we are good to go.

Good parking options as well despite the construction.

Ike is the kindest pharmacist I have ever had! He goes above and beyond to help his customers and truly cares about their wellbeing. I recommend this pharmacy to everyone.

Square Care is fantastic. My husband and I got our vaccines there last month and it was yet another excellent experience. Dr. Ike is a consummate professional, friendly, and incredibly kind. He is always willing to put in extra effort and readily available for any questions. His staff are terrific too. We heard about Square Care through word of mouth and we now highly recommend them to our friends. Square Care is the best pharmacy we have ever used and we are extremely grateful to have them in our community.
