Charlene and her crew were exceptionally professional and empathetic at a time when I really needed both in equal measure. My mother lived alone and passed away over 1100 miles away from where I live and all the responsibility of her end of life obligations landed on me. Once I had Charlene on the phone, I knew I was in good hands and I wasn't let down once throughout the whole experience. She kept me apprised of every relevant detail in real time, gave me the good news, the bad - all as I needed to know in order to move ahead with confidence in a world I had precious little experience with. Highly recommended.

Charlene and her husband of Caring Transitions of Myrtle Beach didn’t hesitate when Hurricane Helena hit and they packed up a trailer of supplies and headed to the Greenville, SC, area to see how they could help. Besides helping their own, they did not hesitate to leave my 86 year old mother, who they did not know, and who had tree damage, no power/internet/cable, leaving her not only with a generator to borrow but provided the gas, all equipment to do so, made sure everything worked properly and offered ice, water and Gatorade. They are the heart of caring to communities and those they have never met and jumped in without hesitation. We not only wanted to thank them again here but want to also highly recommend them for any and all of your relocation needs as I personally have witnessed their business moving side as well in the past. May they be blessed immeasurably more than they blessed so many during a time when they had the choice to not do so. You will not regret your decision to hire this company and your relocation stress will diminish!

Charlene was very personable and efficient in explaining all that was going to be involved in moving our elderly mother. The move went very well, and my siblings and I are satisfied with the results of the physical move.
To future customers of Caring Transitions, of Myrtle Beach, I would advise a careful reading of the fine print in the contract as the invoice we received at the end of the move was a surprise and, in our opinion, excessive. That being said, it was on us to read the fine print and fully understand the breakout of expenses, which we did not spend enough time doing. Study the breakout of costs closely before signing!

Finding out about Caring Transitions was life changing for me since I do not live in South Carolina. My mom passed away last year and she had never gone through the house after the passing of my father. These people take care of everything for you without you lifting a finger. From shipping things to your loved ones, donations, auction and getting rid of things not salvageable. Made getting thru the process of losing a loved one so much easier. They are great people to work with and I will be forever grateful for all they did for me in this process.

I worked with Caring Transitions on the clear out of my parents house after their passing. The process with Charlene and the entire team was seamless and exceeded expectations from the initial meeting to receipt of the final calculation after the on line estate sale. When my mom and our family began the process of moving her from Myrtle Beach to Richmond, we spent a huge amount of time trying to juggle all the moving parts with a long distance move. Caring Transitions of Myrtle Beach has been instrumental in the process of selling my in-laws home after their deaths. It has been a difficult process being 9 hours away (and under Covid-19 restrictions) while also grieving the loss of family members. Charlene and her team have been, not only amazingly easy to work with, but also empathetic, forward-thinking and unwaveringly positive. I told Charlene she was often like my therapist during these past few months. Caring Transitions gave us quick and detailed estimates that were appropriately priced. They helped with everything from cleaning out attics and underneath decks, to setting up temporary dumpsters to working with charities to offer reusable items to people in need. They got rid of trash and cleaned empty areas. Lastly, on the day of closing, when a tenant left rooms full of garbage, boxes and other large items, after saying they would not leave anything, Charlene got a crew of 4 and a second dumpster to the property that morning and had it cleared out within hours for our closing. If she hadn't helped us we would not have been able to sell the home as planned. I could not recommend this company highly enough. Caring Transitions made a very difficult experience that much easier!

What a phenomenal resource! I needed to manage my parents' move from 2,000 miles away. The team at Caring Transitions took care of all of the critical, agreed-upon details for our family. They reduced our stress-levels immensely and were worth every penny. Caring Transitions is a good value and clearly works towards what is in the best interest of their clients. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Their attention to detail is great too. For example, we accidentally forgot to return the cable TV box. When I called to see if Caring Transitions could go back to the house to check, they had already noted the box and returned it to the cable company for us (avoiding unnecessary charges to the cable account). Highly recommended!
