Alaska Car Transport was convenient and easy which is exactly why you’re choosing to ship your vehicle. I chose to drop mine off in Tacoma and it met me in Anchorage 6 days later. They made sure I had everything I needed to drop off and pickup, making it super easy and quick. Would highly recommend!

Alaska Car Transport appears to be just a reshipper for MATSON. I booked online thru Alaska car transport. Once I figured out that it was all done through MATSON, I contacted MATSON and asked if I could get a better rate dealing straight with them. Their quote was $300 more than going with Alaska Car Transport. I personally dropped the car at the port in Tacoma and picked up in Anchorage. Dropped on a Monday, the car shipped Wednesday and I got it in Anchorage the following Monday. By car shipped inside of a container according to the MATSON rep at pickup.

Had an amazing experience! I literally booked my car to get shipped the night before and they were able to pick up my vehicle the NEXT morning! Everything ran smoothly and I picked up my vehicle from the port in Anchorage on the date that it said I’ll be able to pick it up. Highly recommend!!! Tracking my vehicle was super easy as well. I had to catch a flight Monday morning so I actually never seen who picked up my car but booked on the weekend when they were closed and they picked up my car Monday morning so I emailed them all the information that was required for pickup and everything ran smoothly!

I love that they did all the coordination for barge between port of Anchorage and Tacoma, and transferring to car hauler from Tacoma to Michigan. It was delivered to my sisters front door, and took the stress completely off my shoulders.

Everything went smoothly. Even though I didn't have any personal items in the truck, I feel charging for them is a bit too much. Maybe make it up to 250 lbs.

Trucking and shipping of vehicles is a rough job. I want to thank the employees who helped get my vehicle to it's destination with zero issues. They sent me emails and text messages to keep me in the loop on where my vehicle was. Flawless drop off and pick up. Thanks again!
