I’m all about supporting local businesses but I only go here if absolutely necessary for one reason and that is that is smells like rotten cigarette smoke ALL THE TIME. I asked an employee why and they said the owner smokes in the store in the back which is beyond ridiculous and very selfish. The fact that the owner is too lazy to walk outside and smoke is beyond unprofessional and not fair to his staff and guests. It is not 1960, go smoke outside and I’m sure your sales will improve as I go out of my to go to west bend ace solely on this fact. You can do better. On a side note, the lady with the red hair is amazing and beyond helpful when I do go in and endure the rotten smoke stench

The guys in the back of the store are always super helpful when it comes to finding stuff. The check-out clerks aren't much for talking to, but they're efficient so there's not much more you could ask for. The products they keep in stock are of good quality. I highly recommend simply for the knowledgeable staff.

Great "little" neighborhood hardware store. Bigger than it appears. Great selection across a variety of categories. Knowledgeable staff. Plenty of services offered. Take note though that they no longer sharpen chain saw blades. Plenty of parking. Rarely a line.
