Great miles, pay, and equipment. Office environment is super friendly and staff remembers your name, you aren't a number. Maintenance on the trucks is quarterly, shop staff is outstanding and do an exceptional job. If any issues happen while on the road, it is quickly handled and corrected. Dispatchers communicate with you.

I’ve been here for nearly 2 years now and overall Ive had a great time. The office staff is very helpful and willing to work with me if I have any concerns, My truck has been well maintained and any issues I’ve had have been taken care of, and they usually on top of their game with planning generally giving longer cross country loads, and are eager to assist you if you come to any bumps along the way. Double J is a huge step up compared to the previous company I was at.

Hands down the best trucking job I've had. I've worked for mega carriers in the past and small companies too. This place takes the cake. They recognize your work the trucks are spected out. Good loads I've seen more of the country with them than any other company and the pay is top notch. The office staff are amazing friendly and the owner and his son are approachable understanding accepting and asking your opinions on things. I would highly recommend you consider double Jay transportation. They are family focused and I don't say that lightly. They will get you home. Something so simple as a birthday card went a long way with me. I'm seen I'm not just a man behind a wheel. Thank you double J

Great company to drive for if you're on the right account. They are power units only, no trailers. They have 3 accounts, 2 dry van and 1 reefer account. I'd still be there if the dry van account I was on didn't get upset and told Double J that they didn't want me to pull for them anymore because of something I did that I didn't see a problem with, but Quad deemed that it was unsafe. So Double J moved over to the reefer account and I tried it for a week and reefer freight just wasn't for me. The owners Jerome and Keith treat you like family from day 1 if you do your job properly. My dispatcher Jennifer was a great dispatcher and Bill in dispatch also was great and if you can't get hold of your dispatcher get Bill and he will help you with any problem you might be having. And the head of dispatch Lee was a great guy that could get you laughing on a bad day. And the shop is top notch, they keep your truck in top notch condition and will work with you at getting problems taking care of. I'd like to thank Keith for trying to keep me on the Quad account. I still can't believe Quad didn't want me to pull for them anymore when i was never late with a load and most of the time I was delivering loads early. I wish they would've given me a warning and I wouldn't have did it again. But to end this long ass review, everyone at Double J was great and greeted you with smiles 😃. I would probably go back if I could get back on the Quad account.

I wrote a review on Indeed but of course the company had the review rejected ..I caught a maintenance guy that was supposed to be installing the new eld system on my truck, I had already suspected someone going through my belongings, so it prompted me to install a private camera, and the guy was caught on my camera invading my privacy, he was a white man with curly ginger hair, also I experienced someone trying to log into my personal bank account, as well as receiving a letter from an investigation that was held and was deemed the Double j had a data breech, how convenient! Oh and this review was posted in June of 2024

Drove for this company less than two months a very bad time, my wife was driving in a bad snow storm and the windshield wipers blew off ,we called and was told to continue to drive. The truck broke down, took them 3 days to come fix it .The heater kept stopping, me and my wife was freezing. Today after are home time we drove the truck back and resigned. The owner hollered at me ,spoke to me very disrespectful said I owed him for gas and that he was going to mess up my file. Stay away from double jj they aren't safe and don't care about there driver's. I've spoken with other driver's and they feel the same way. And looking for a new home.

Decent company, however needs some improvement. No incentive programs for drivers. No CPM increase even after a couple of years. Definitely micromanaged by parent company who they are leased to, Leonard's Express Inc Farmington, NY...
Doesn't pay actual miles, pays practical miles, ZIP code to zip code, which averages about 50 mile loss per trip..or more depending on how long the trip is. easily $5-$7k annual loss on compensation.....
Driver manager is cool, younger owner is cool and understanding, Avoid the older owner... He's never wrong about anything.......
