I had a pleasant experience while getting my hair braided. All of the ladies are nice and braid well. The price was reasonable. Initially when I arrived there was confusion on their end about my appointment time but it was resolved. I would say just confirm with them several times to ensure they have your correct appointment time. It took 6 hours with one person braiding. The braider was gentle and asked me multiple times throughout if I was satisfied or wanted to change anything. Making an appointment was easy and they communicated well with any questions I had. I would return and recommend.

Not to mention the fact that I barely an hair at all like less than 5 inches...and ya girl legit got me up in her looking like I got a full head of hair 😆. AND she does ut with practically no tension AT ALL, SO grateful! Thank you!! Book it, and pay the money it's worth it. And they do touch ups too!!!

Overall, I got what was promised. This is not a full service salon and that’s evident in their policies: arrive with clean hair, bring your own braiding hair and I recommend packing a lunch for long appointments. I like that my hair looks good…singles with a knot…and the size is consistent. Communication can be a challenge unless you speak Spanish, so bring a photo if you want something specific. All in all, a good experience and reasonably priced.

Love that i now have a place i can go to get my braids and cornrows done without having to go into Portland. The shop is well located in the Vancouver Mall by the theater. If I have one gripe about them is the appointment system is a bit confusing at times. I’ll text for an appointment and get a time but when I show up it seems they don’t know I’m coming. Overall love the experience when I go in. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to get your hair done right.

This was my first time ever going to a salon to get my hair braided as I usually do my own. I went in with a request of layered French curl braids and while I really liked my braider I could tell that she didn’t know how to get the style I was asking for. At the salon she had to redo the few bottom layers because she braided them down too long (see picture #1). Then when I requested it be shorter towards my mid back she and another braider started hacking away with no rhyme or reason which resulted in the braids being uneven (see pictures #2 and #3) After I got home I realized that half the braids weren’t even curly anymore and had straightened after she sealed the ends with hot water (see picture #4) I don’t know if it was the hair I bought or the technique she used but either way I had to go out and buy flexi rods to recurl them not even an hour after leaving. The style is cute but not really what I was picturing and the braider was very nice and patient despite the language barrier. I was there for 8 hours and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

EDIT: I attempted to get a refund and them to take the braids down. I contacted them on Sunday (received braids Friday) and was told that they can’t refund me. While frustrating I let it go and started to take down the hair myself during which I noticed some of my hair was past where she burned the hair to seal it! (See pictures #5 and #6) So not only did I waste my money and time getting this hair done, I also had to cut my own in order to take the braids out. Before I had given a 2 star review but now it will be 1 for the poor customer service and ruining my hair.

Love my short bob!! The length is on point all the way around . The style took less than 4 1/2 hours. The employees were welcoming and friendly. The cost was a little speedy, but worth every penny.
