He kept in touch with us to let us know the progress and delivered this amazing table today. It’s stunning and fits in so well with our renovation. We were referred to Holt Lumber for a counter top for our washer and dryer. As soon as I saw the black walnut, I knew that was what the counter top needed to be. And not only did we get the countertop, we also ordered a matching live edge shelf to put above it. Mike informed us it may be 6-8 weeks but in less than 3 weeks, we were able to pick up the most beautiful custom pieces and haven’t stopped smiling each time I see them. AND, while there to pick up our pieces, I fell in love with yet another piece of wood. In no time, we will also have a custom coffee table made out of a “cankor” from another black walnut tree. Mike and Andrew have been the best to work with for all three of our projects. We are looking forward to utilizing Holt Lumber again for our future renovations and furniture needs. Beautiful craftsmanship and A+ service!

Mike and his team go above and beyond to accommodate and exceed the needs of their clients. After a long overnight drive from South Carolina, Mike welcomed us with kindness and genuine willingness to provide the best service possible. The passion and commitment to lumber, and its potential, are obvious and contagious. Would 100% make the trip again in the future.

Mike and his team at Holt were amazing to work with, I highly recommend them!! I told him I wanted a giant slab of gorgeous wood to make a standing desk and they really delivered! He had a beautiful piece of walnut that they polished up into a gorgeous desk for me. If you’re looking for anything wood related, call them.

Above and beyond! I work for a public university in South Carolina and we needed a specific piece of lumber for a special project at work. When I called Mike to ask about his inventory or what options he may have, he stopped what he was doing to FaceTime with me and show me the options in his shop. My colleague and I drove up the next day to get the board we chose on FaceTime and that’s when Mike offered even more help and service! Again, he stopped what he was doing to clean up the board, plane it down, rip down the edges to be perfectly square, and then sanded it smooth all before we left. We never expected this level of service for literally one board. So, if Mike takes this much care with this small of an order, I can only imagine the level of attentiveness and quality one would get from a larger purchase/project. I would highly, highly recommend this business! Mike made our drive to WV well with the miles!

Beyond happy with this custom built table from Holt Lumber Company LLC! Mike was amazing to work with, took the ideas we had with some of his suggestion, and hand crafted this beautiful walnut table! His largest table to date! The detail and craftsmanship in his work is incredible and his passion for his talent definitely shows through his work. A one of a kind heirloom piece we will cherish forever!

Needed some hardwood to build a table and Mike provided that and much more. He is experienced and knowledgeable in woodworking with top tier service.
