I have noticed that the Yelm Chamber really helps out the small businesses in town. They host ribbon cuttings, after hours events, community events like the Home and Garden show and the put on both parades: Christmas in the Park and Yelm Prairie Days Parades. They are a great resource for new people moving to town.

The only two places that do food delivery are Domino’s and Pizza Hut. It would be nice to have Asian food delivered. A couple of nice chain restaurants would be great, Red Robin, Denny’s, Applebee’s, IHOP, etc. We moved here almost three years ago and no significant businesses have opened. We have to drive to Lacey or Lakewood most of the time.
