Jennifer was a pleasure to deal with, responsive and helpful. I have experience packing and shipping balikbayan, and had no breakage ever. Alas with UMAC the amount of broken things upon arrival was staggering . The boxes were likely dropped from a significant height. Upon notifying UMAC they just tell you it's not their responsibility, end of story. So as nice as Jennifer was, at the end of day I can't recommend this forwarder.

Since I live in Alaska, only UMAC the Express Cargo is available there! Of all the many times i’ve send Boxes there’s NO PROBLEM. BUT LAST YEAR in NOV, I sent 3 boxes and they just received today in the Philippines February 04,2023 - all of our boxes that was finally delivered, was all OPENED by the sides, especially on top (the opening) - there was NEW TAPE PLACED and it no longer showed the name of my Brothers on top of the boxes WHERE I WROTE THEIR NAMES IN PERMANENT BLACK MARKER. I took pictures of it and I will show it to you, WHY DID I EXPERIENCE THIS FROM THE PHILIPPINES COMPANY?!!!!!!

I sent 3 balikbayan boxes to my family in the Philippines. The guy that picked up my boxes was very friendly and also the lady at UMAC office in Lakewood she was very professional, she responded to my inquiry in a timely manner all the time. My family recieved the package without any problem.Thank you

I will never send a box from them anymore. They picked up my boxes on April 27, 2019 and it is already July 16 still my boxes haven’t arrived to my family yet! I already called them three times since last week of June and they just keep telling me that my boxes are already in the area. I have been their customer since 2005 but the last three years that I’ve been sending my boxes have been very disappointing and frustrating. Hopefully they can fix this issue right away or else they will lose their customers. Thank you.

Service is so slow no coordination at lakewood branch. Example if someone leave a message on an answering machine please call back that's the right way thank you
