My name is Paula M. Sanders, I reserved and stayed in room 314, The Owners Name is ANGELA HOUSE….BEWARE! SERIOUSLY!

My stay was from Friday, September 22, 2023 to Friday, September 29, 2023.

Notification was messaged to me on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 7:29pm-that maintenance men had to repair the lock of the sliding glass door and the entry door ( which had to be left unlocked until the maintenance men returned the following day; Saturday, September 23, 2023. We also discovered the closet door was broken, it literally feel off the hinges when it was opened! When I contacted the owner it was insinuated in writing that I broke it…insulting to say the least!!!

I’ve contacted the owner of the room regarding all of the above; the room was to be polite dingy; the chairs outside were filthy; it needs to be painted (especially the ceiling; no head boards just unappealing Dollar Tree flowered vines on the wall.
To be honest in appearance it looked like a cheap motel!

I paid over $800.00 for this “room”.
The owner is refusing to accommodate me financially for all of the issues.

I will be contacting an official(s) and the Better Business Bureau, possibly post on all social media regarding your resort and the people you allow to take financial advantage of guests.

Karen Riordan of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce was invited personally by Tribble’s SC Venues Crisis Team to attend a meeting to discuss recent developments regarding small businesses. Not one person from the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber showed.
The Grand Strand Business Alliance is a PAC fostered by Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. The PAC has helped fund Senior Rankin’s campaign for the past 20 years or more. How are you not going to show up to address all the issues at foot ?!? If I could give zero stars I would.

We were in town for the week from NJ. We were ready to leave the first day. This town has nothing to offer. You've ruined your beaches except for the state park. The town needs a rejuvenation project. There are simply too many low end stores,restaurants, and attractions catering to similar vacationers. If that's what you're trying to achieve, congratulations! We are happy to be back home in New Jersey where the beaches are wide and beautiful! Really, they are. And the people are civilized! Really, they are.

New in town and decided to stop in and speak to someone about the economic development in Myrtle Beach. Was told there was no one to speak with and I couldn't make an appointment. Instructions given to "check the website". Of course, I already had. Not welcoming in the least and surely not progressive in wanting to speak to new business coming to the area. Needs a much better "first impression" campaign.
