Ok, unexpectedly I was given 60 days to relocate. I had never used movers before, I had always just done it myself BUT now that Im older, its harder to move around, lift and carry so I decided to use a moving service. My realtor gave me the name of Magik Relocation services, so I called them.
Richard came out and did a walk through of my house with me, and gave me a quote. It was far less than I had expected it to be so I was really pleased about that!
We set a date for the move - and then the house I was moving to fell apart and I had to pivot. I contacted Richard and he was wonderful, and rescheduled the move for me! He had other contracts but made it work so I could still move in the time frame I needed!!
He sent me a couple of reminders as to the date and time of the move (which was great because with everything going on I was losing track of the days!!)
On the morning of the move, 3 absolutely WONDERUL fellows showed up at my door, came in and started packing and prepping my stuff. I honestly cannot believe how efficient and fast they were! They were very careful with my belongings and packed everything neatly. Within a couple of hours they were done packing and prepping and said they would be back the next day to load the truck and move my stuff. They even took my freezer and washer/dryer set to my daughters house for me as a separate move, within my move!
The next day they showed up bright and early and started loading my stuff into the truck. About an hour later they were ready to take it all to my new place. They unloaded in record time. They put all my furniture together and put everything where I wanted it, stacking the boxes so I could get at them easily in each room and leaving pathways for me to walk.
I cannot say enough GOOD about this company!! They were fast, efficient AND came in UNDER the estimated price!! They were friendly and careful with all my belongings!
If youre looking for a full service moving company THIS is the one you want!! If I could give them 20 stars I would!!

I’ve moved more times than I can count and twice with movers. I cannot say enough about how impressed I am with Magik Relocation.

Every piece of furniture was wrapped in blankets to protect it - even the couch. Everything arrived in immaculate condition. Because of the way they moved things I could leave items in drawers, which of course makes packing and unpacking WAY easier - if it lives in a drawer, the entire dresser magically transports itself, items and all!

I had most items packed or otherwise ready to go but needed help with disassembling my bed and packing up my TV (I had unplugged and packed the cords and peripherals). They disassembled my bed, moved it and then set it back up in the new place and same with the TV.

Their rates were very reasonable and their workers were kind and professional. I have a business move coming up and intend to hire them again to help me with that as well.

If you need a quality mover in the Portland or Vancouver area, I would absolutely hire this team to make your stressful move a million times easier.

We haven’t used a relocation company before and it was stressful trying to figure out quotes and details. Charity was nice enough to visit us to assess our needs. She was very professional and kind in walking us through the process and even giving us some packing advises to save on moving costs.
On the moving day the crew showed up on time and they were fast and gentle with our furniture. The estimate Charity provided us was spot on and the overall process was smooth. It is not easy nowadays to find business that is competent, honest and really care about providing good service with a reasonable price. Magik was on time and incredibly efficient for our Portland move, and Charity is such a great communicator in letting us know what to expect!
I have heard stories of other moving companies "running down the clock." This team made every second count. Because this is a two-part move, they were moving our items to two storage units. They made great use of the space and stacked things compactly and efficiently.
They also moved many items of furniture around within the house for me, to prepare for staging the house for sale. I'm looking forward to working with them again for part two of our move.

Would definitely recommend! Charity was so kind and easy to work with - she came out to our house to give us an accurate estimate, based on how much stuff we had - and our move was scheduled quickly and easily! The movers were friendly and professional, and got everything to our new house without any damage! We would definitely use them again in the future!

We are very happy we chose Magik for our move. They showed up on time, worked fast, were very careful with our stuff and made sure they are secure and loaded to the truck with care. The time of work was exactly as in quote we got, as well as pricing. The movers even packed a few things we either forgot to do or ran out of boxes to pack it. They were friendly and polite.
