Lile North American Vancouver branch did an amazing job for us, both Erik and Casey were very helpful, and the customer service was impeccable. They kept me informed every step of the planning process and answered all our questions along the way. I would highly recommend Lile for your moving & storage needs. I have dealt with quite a few moving companies in my lifetime, and this was by far the best overall experience I have ever had.

I do not leave negative reviews as a rule. I generally just don't go back or I don't bother utilizing the service any longer.

BUT..... Lile Moving and Storage and their unethical business practices, need to be exposed and brought to light and protect/warn others.

Lile Moving and Storage uses deceitful tactics by low balling (after a full onsite inventory) only to charge you almost 20% more at delivery. Yes I know it was non binding.

ZERO changes in the amount to move from inventory to move. We actually had less furniture and clothing from when the inventory was done.

I've had 14 van line moves in the last 25 years and I've never had such a terrible experience.

Stay very far away from Lile Moving and Storge and use anybody else. I thought I was using a reputable company, but I was wrong.

Communication was great until I signed the agreement to have them move me. Then "crickets".

So, I was charged almost $1,400 dollars for services not rendered because Lile Moving and Storage did not have the staff or vehicle to provide the service. NO offer to credit that service only an email explaining how I could file a "claim" with North American Van Lines, even though my agreement for that service was specific to Lile Moving and Storage and their packing service.

After speaking to the GM and the CFO to attempt to get some resolution, they only hid behind their contract language.

The GM (Erik Grimaldo) initially offered to honor the original estimate on the packing materials portion in an effort to 'make things right'. But the CFO (Vanessa Rimby)then vetoed that, saying her GM didn't have the authority to make that decision and the company has been quiet ever since and will not respond to phone calls or emails. Again, just trying to get credit for services NOT provided/rendered.

Additionally, the 'experienced' estimator/salesperson (Casey Limbach) missed his materials estimate by 50% and the weight was off by almost 2000lbs on a light 7,000lb move. 28.5% off, Really? He came to the house and took pictures of the inventory!

The contracted driver from Humboldt Moving and Storage and his team had to help the one packer that Lile Moving and Storage sent and did NOT receive any payment for that help.

When I say help, the 4 of them packed almost 1/2 of the house in 1.5 hours after the packer from Lile spent 6 hours in 2 rooms. I even provided materials to the packer from what I had because he didn't have what he needed. As a matter of perspective, the house was only 1650 sqft with only one 10' long closet of clothes.
I then had to clean up the tape, paper, trash, broken decor, etc without so much as a simple apology from the packer that Lile Moving and Storage sent.

To be clear, I am not looking to receive a credit for services I received or wasn't happy with, I'm trying to just get a credit for services I DID NOT receive by Lile Moving and Storage. Seems simple enough, but apparently it's not.

I understand contracts, but I also understand accepting responsibility/accountability for mistakes, poor planning, poor staffing, poor communication and poor customer service.

Lile Moving and Storage has purposely chosen not to accept any responsibility for any of these, but has chosen to hide behind "the contract" and not accept any responsibility.

Their behavior and lack of willingness to engage in a conversation only solidifies my belief that this a standard, malicious, deceitful and directed practice for Lile Moving and Storage. Based on my interactions it seems to start at the top and supported by the entire group.

Had it not been for Art, the driver and his team from Humboldt Moving and Storage, (Highly Recommend) the move would have been disastrous.
AI generated response, responder doesn't exist at Lile.
Spoke with Evan on 3/18, he confirmed there is no "Lori S"/ Business Manger at Lile that he could find in the company directory. He took my email, said he would contact Vanessa Rimby to call me back and copy me on the email request to do so. I've sent 3 email & 3 calls in 2 weeks
No response from anyone thus far.

Unprofessional and thieves.
A day late to pick up and almost a week late to deliver. I was without my belongings in my new place for 16 days. It does not take 16 days to drive 380 miles.
They stole highly valued art and art supplies and broke a collector's statue but refuse to reimburse me because "We did not pack the contents therefore we are not responsible for stolen or broken items". This was said over the phone by one of their customer service employees.
They dropped off my things in a warehouse with a local moving company in a different city.
Missing paperwork and items upon delivery because between transferring trailers, they took everything out of the closed wooden crates when I was told they would only take the crates out and open them when they deliver to my new place. They lied and took everything apart to put it on a different trailer. They owe me over $1600 worth of stolen art and art supplies and over $500 worth of missing/broken items, but refuse to settle the difference because "We did not pack the contents."
Unbelievable.
Stay FAR away from this company.

Absolutely the worst! Run away!!! They were aggressive, rude, and just the worst experience in the world!

Active duty Navy family, and they could care less. Didn’t want to take any clothes because of some clothes perceived to be dirty with dog hair on them and there were four dishes in the sink that were dirty and they didn’t want to take any of the dishes. Multiple no calls no shows, no answering of the phone, missed deadlines cost me an additional month in rent. Items arrived to San Diego broken or missing, and the company that moved us into our house - disgusted. Horrendous, please run away from this company. Im hopeful the military fires them and doesn’t allow them to contract with them any further!

I thought our packing by Lile went well, but the unpacking has proven me wrong! The packers did a very poor job of labeling the boxes so it has been time consuming to look in boxes for items we are missing! Two examples are we cannot find our small TV set for the master bedroom nor have we located our microwave! I have looked at every box and none are labeled with these items in them. Also, did not find our power cord for our large TV in the packaging! And, it is not in the "parts" box! Do not have a clue where it is! Same with one of our powered recliners - one cord was in the parts box, the other cord is missing! This poor packing/labeling may have been caused by packing team members changing each of the three days the packing took! Very disappointed in this! Also the weight of our load was measured at 20,000lbs approximately 6,000lbs less than the estimate - have yet to hear from Lile about a refund for the lesser weight! I can't really recommend using this company for a move based on the above! On the other hand our driver, Larry was great- took care of loading/unloading very professionally and managed his helpers very well!

Great place from office staff to warehouse, and most of all I loved how the GM come out and helped unload!! You can definitely tell his employees respect him and he treats them very good. This seems like a great place with positive attitudes and great work moral #teamwork makes the dream work
