Great spot for a show, lack of seating is a little bit of a bummer. Across the street post show they have $2 unlimited nacho bar with purchase of a drink and that was AWESOME

Fremont Abbey was such a beautiful place to hold our wedding, it was even prettier than we expected. The ambience is beautiful, there are plentiful spaces for getting ready and storing items, and the people are so friendly and accommodating. Of course, they're incredibly busy so sometimes it takes awhile to hear back, but they were wonderful to work with.

The venue is okay, the stage is really good, you can see from every angle, the acoustic is very good and the place has a chill vibe which I enjoyed. I went to watch some friends play and I had a nice time, the restrooms were clean but they could use a renovation.

Haven’t been in years but finally went to the Rounds recently. Love that they allow opportunities & space for artists especially newer ones to showcase their music. The evening with Naomi Wachira and Jess Pillay was absolutely spectacular and reminded me of how music can bring community together.

The music here is always amazing. The artists have continuously been outstanding and the sound quality is remarkable. The beautiful wooden floors and high ceilings in the grand hall carry a singers voice through a blissful swirl of mountainous climbs and cavernous dives.

The staff are wonderful, always kind and helpful, but all the while professional. The standard for excellence here is equaled by no venue I've consistently visited.

But the truly amazing magic of the Abbey comes from the people. Last month I saw Tomo Nakayama with a packed house for his album release. Hundreds of strangers, packed tightly in cozy old abbey on a warm summer evening. For his finale, Tomo played an unplugged acoustic song in the middle of the room. Everyone was so quiet, it felt breathless. The staff quickly switched off the fans and the whole room connected in silent respect and deep reverence for the unique beauty found only in being fully present in that moment only. As the song came to an end, the faint murmur of dozens humming or quietly whispering along under their breath brought an almost eerie, but certainly a spiritual depth to the whole evening which will no doubt be engraved on the consciousness of everyone present.

No better, or other, place to be fully welcomed into the performance and the personal intimacy that is shared between artist and audience.

Just recently helped coordinate a wedding here. The space is beautiful, with a variety of amenities and gorgeous light — but it’s the competent, helpful staff that make it a gem of an event space.

Don’t sleep on the excellent events they host - from dance classes to concerts. One of the art scene gems of the north end.
