I needed some J channel and some corner trim. It was a little far drive but worth it I was in Arkansas any how. I like the fact that I don't have to be a contractor or have a account to buy there. In my area all the metal supplies places don't sell to the public. sure I can order the stuff at true valve and pay 3 times the amount. if I find myself in need of building metal trim or panels I will be back

I am surprised by the low rating. These people have always been friendly, helpful folks. They have always beat others prices and were able to make custom fit metal pieces in a very short time. We have put metal roofing on several buildings and purchased all of our materials here.

The metal they loaded is cut up to 2 inches short in places and pieces are scratched up. I usually get my metal from Harrison, AR and will from now on. When I called them to report problem they told me It's your problem now. That's true. It's mine now and I will do my best to make sure no one else gets their metal from them. I have my own company. I run it the way a business should be run. I will replace this metal with GOOD CORRECTLY cut metal from Harrison. And on another point. I wish I had read some of the reviews on here before I bought from Discount Metal.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We bought metal for a new house roof. The metal wrinkled on installation. It was installed over ply wood with screws in the flat. The owner tried to say the installation messed it up. The wrinkles were no where near the screws. This is inferior product with very poor service. We ordered 10 bags of screws. They sent 6 and refused to send more when we called. The length of the metal ranged within 6 inches of the ordered length. When we called them they told us it was our problem now. This is a company that the attorney general needs to look into. Buyer beware, not good people, with shoddy workmanship and inferior product!

I ask for seconds 8ft. I realize they are not perfect but they wanted to charge me for uneven metal and didnt want to look through the metal to give me what I wanted. They had attitude and them just walked off.
