Grateful the Hunger Task Force and the Kane Street Community Garden are in our community. I appreciate this food bank supplying all the pantries, agencies and programs that it does.

I love the Kane St Garden and WAFER and the mission that they support, but I am very disappointed in the HTF management. They do not address concerns raised. Instead they defend outrageous behavior by staff members and then get nasty with the volunteers who bring concerns. Shelly and Nicole are unprofessional and they deemed numerous complaints to be "a conspiracy by volunteers to get away with whatever they want." They have no respect for the volunteers that keep the garden functioning. They also seem to have an issue with respect for employees that are doing their level best to pull things together. Their lack of respect has cast a pawl over the organizations that they are supposed to support and represent. What used to be a harmonious and healthy atmosphere for volunteers has become a place where many no longer feel welcome. Volunteers of many years have stopped coming because of it.

HTF provides my non-profit organization The Good Fight Community Center with the food and beverages we distribute to the teens that come to our community center. The staff is always very friendly and helpful in finding items that best fit our demographics. I can honestly say I know we couldn't provide the items we give our kids without their help.

The warehouse is immaculate! I have never seen any place more aware of food safety and food cleanliness than these folks.

Unfortunately this a program who only delivers to those 60 or older, which is great. Where do those with physical disabilities who have no way of getting anywhere, on a fixed income and under the age of 60 go. The understanding is there is a lot of food wasted, that could be helping other's.

Went to our local Food pantry got a Christmas ham . Did not think to check the date ..dated 1-25-19 ..told the women who runs the pantry about the year old hams ..she said they were donated by hunger task force.. will Not serve my Family a ham that is a year old
