I shop at this location several times a week and the service is usually very good and very helpful. Today I went to this store specifically to have some keys copied. I found the key-copying location and machine, but there were no employees nearby. I wandered around looking for awhile and finally found some in the Electronics area. The only three employees visible in that half of the store were standing and chatting near the TVs for sale. I asked one employee, Geoff, how I could find someone to help me make some keys. Geoff laughed and said 'Call customer service.' I asked him how and he said 'There's a phone right there.' I said I'd already looked and hadn't seen it. Geoff laughed again and said, 'It's right there.' Luckily, one of the two women he'd been chatting with decided to help me and led me to get the key done. Through no fault of hers, the key blanks I needed were sold out, so I had to buy a custom key to get it made. While waiting for the key to be made, I managed to find the Customer Service phone on a pole about 30 feet away. It was not obvious, but would have been one hundred percent more helpful and customer-friendly than Geoff. This rude, lazy, dismissive person is the opposite of the majority of the helpful employees I've encountered here weekly. Sadly, he's the one I'll remember.

I live in Portland, but this location is fairly close to my work. I like going here vs. the Portland stores (they are just a bit more busy). I continuously receive excellent customer service here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Today, MCKENZIE was my cashier. She was welcoming, fast, and friendly. I worked in grocery retail for many years. She is fantastic! There are a couple of other cashiers that are excellent as well. When i remember their names, I will update my review.

Had a horrible experience today. Stopped in to buy some fish since WinCo's fresh counter is shut down for a week or so. After putting my toddler in one of the rusty carts, I got berated by a customer for calling my daughter a girl (she's a THEY, apparently she gets to decide what she is when she's older). Then many customers were routed in front of my cart by security before I could enter the store. Some of them sneered at me for going against traffic while I waited for the whole line of customers to pass. Eventually I got to the fish counter, and waited a few minutes for someone to come out. During that few minutes I noticed the fish counter looked unsanitary, poor quality, and had no backlight, so I turned around to leave. Several employees were watching me. I've worked in retail, and that typically means they suspect you are a shoplifter, and I got uncomfortable. Then my empty cart got caught at the security magnets at the front of the store, which hasn't happened to me before since I typically buy something before I leave stores. The security guard said he needed to push the button, so he did, right as someone shouted "Search him!" Seriously, this actually happened. While I was pushing a toddler around in a cart.

I pushed my cart into the return, grabbed my daughter, and walked out. I am never shopping here again. In fact, I think I am done with Fred Meyer everywhere after this. No more gas even. I am a father and my daughter is a GIRL and I will not be treated like a second class citizen in a grocery store that doesn't even keep their meat fresh.

My recent visits to Fred Meyer have been nothing short of frustrating. Tense interactions are common, particularly when Karen interjects herself into my self-checkout routine, creating unnecessary disruptions. On top of that, the two managers seem to only be employed to chat with each other to avoid boredom, completely ignoring their duties.

What really pushed it over the edge was their socializing taking place literally over the produce that the community is expected to purchase and consume. It’s not only unprofessional but also needlessly unsanitary. This behavior reflects a serious lack of consideration for customers and basic hygiene standards.

Fred Meyer needs to reevaluate its approach to both customer service and cleanliness—this is simply unacceptable.

A month ago I went in to grab my prescription and a few things, but the pharmacist lady's were so amazing to me. I was 8mos pregnant at the time, and was in pain from moving all day. I hadn't felt the baby move all day. They instantly allow.me to sit down in the back, and take my blood pressure amd tried to listen for a heartbeat on baby. I appreciate them going that far to care for me out of concern. Thank you.

This store is the worse managed store i have ever been to. I swear to never come back everytime I am here. The managers and shift leads should all be fired and someone that knows how to actually schedule and run a store should replace them. They have 2 cashiers for about 30 people at 4:13 pm. Never shop here if you value your time.

When I walk into a Fred Meyers store, I expect the store to be organized the same way as the last one I walked into. Whoever is doing the organization of the aisles for Fred Meyer needs to be consistent. It's insane
