Ben is a top tier guide, and an even better person. He is a team leader that runs a great program. He will not let you fail and will keep working at your pace to get you onto fish. Booked Ben for a full day of fishing and was easily one of the best fishing days of my life. I brought my fiancée who had no experience with a fly rod. Ben was able to teach her and had her catching fish within an hour. So essentially he’s a miracle worker. Thank you much Ben, we will be back!

Simply put Ben Woodard is an amazing guide. He is unbelievably knowledgeable in his craft of Fly Fishing and where the fish are hitting. That is just the start of why you should use him as a guide!

Combine that knowledge with his ability to coach, demonstrate, and encourage to make you a better fly fisherman.

He did so with a smile, clear communication, and positive encouragement, which is skill that sets him apart. His enthusiasm and endless patiences is something all guides should aspire too.

If you are headed to the White River, I could not recommend him highly enough!! He will get you on fish whether you are skilled or just beginning and along the way making you better!!

My wife and I spent two half days on the White River fishing with Jacob Commer, head guide at Woodard Fly fishing. This was our first time fishing the White and it is a fantastic fishery. We had a great time, caught several nice fish both days and we were really impressed with Jacob's professionalism, ability to provide patient guidance when needed and overall great attitude! The weather was absolutely beautiful in mid- November in the Ozarks. The owner, Ben, worked with us on the arrangements and all our communications about the trip were clear, timely and made for a great trip! We look forward to returning to this beautiful area and fishing with Ben and his team again! Thanks guys!

Ben Woodard & Jacob Comer are very knowledgeable & enthusiastic fly fishing guides. Highly recommend whether beginner or seasoned fly fishermen. Fished the White River two days. Caught very nice Brown & Rainbow trout. Woodard fly fishing is a very professional outfitter. Looking forward to booking future trips on the White & a small mouth trip on the King River.

Ben does an awesome job of guiding, coaching and making a trip a great experience.
I have fished with over 40 fly fishing guides around the globe and Ben would rank in the top 10.
His gear and equipment are well kept and top notch. He ties flies that work on his waters, not just another mass produced fly from the bin at the fly shop. He also does an incredible shore lunch if you want a break.
I have fished several days with Ben and he is constantly changing tactics and approaches to make sure I got a great day on the water.
I will be back again to fish with Ben for sure.
