Stopped in at 11:30pm. to make a phone call, because I was running late. Pick up a load of copper pipe and fittings from Menards. They had my order all wrong. It took forever to get it straightened out.
I look up from my phone to see an older lady. She is standing at least 5 feet away. I roll down my window. She tells me I can't block the pumps. I apologized and said i would move. She then told me that if I'm trying to sleep one off, I can go around back.
At that point that I noticed a police officer as he approached and said I made the cashier uncomfortable. I again apologize, I told my whole story again.
He then asked how much I've had to drink. He told me the ladies inside called him, saying I came in the store, bought alcohol, drove around the block drinking, and now I was trying to sleep if off.
I explained again, "I just pulled in to make a phone call, didn't even exit my vehicle." (But according to the cashier, you go around back to sleep one off.)
There was no one trying to get gas, but the store had at least 6 cars parked out front.
I guess my work truck, loaded with copper pipe and fittings, was too suspicious and perhaps intimidating for Yelleville at 11:30pm.
The officer was very polite (seriously) and did escort me out of town
I just don't understand, I was not blocking anyone from getting gas. I was actually planning on getting gas. But just ask me to leave,
I have so many questions:
Why make up an elaborate story about me drinking.
Did you sell someone else alcohol and watch them leave drinking and driving?
If it was true, why did you wait to report it.
Behind the building, are there multiple people parked sleeping off being intoxicated?

It was a pleasure stopping here this morning! As always great cappuccino and fair gas prices but this trip resulted in the sweetest lady at the register. Kelsey is the kindest person I've spoken with in a while and her swet smile in itself is worth the visit. I wholeheartedly recommend this location.

Super slow pumps that never get fixed, card readers at pumps stay broken for weeks, they were out of fountain drinks for about 6 months. They are lucky they are the only convenience store in town.

I enjoy the service and convenience ,it's clean and they have went thru some remodeling by fountain drinks but all is up and going .Mr schooley pictured in bk ground passed away in nov.2020 . Gd man truly missed .❤️to mrs.schooley ,mr .ken with you now .RIp

Wife went in to buy a drink, after 5 minutes she came back out empty handed. There wasn't any one inside to take her money because they were alloall smoking.
