I had a family emergency and had someone meeting us around that area so I could get off the truck and get home quickly. As my bf was getting off before getting to the truck stop down the road that was the only place to meet up at. Went inside and spoke to the dot workers asking if we could park there just long enough for my ride to get there. They were very sweet and had no problem with letting us do the exchange there and even offer their thoughts and prayers to us. I just wanted to thank them for their kind gestures and courtesy they gave during a difficult time.

Was pulled in for a level 3 driver only inspection agter being on scale. Was my first inspection ever since getting my license a year ago and Officer Winfrey walked me through everything she needed from me and was so polite and kind. She really went above and beyond. Please make sure she receives the recognition she deserves! I wish all DOT Officers/ state troopers were as kind and patient as her!

Every truck driver should stop and say hello to the hard working D.O.T. OFFICERS. They have plenty of parking for a short or a long g visit. Stop in and say hello drivers.

They put you out of service then don't bother checking on you at all!!!! 3 and a half days I was stuck there with nowhere to get anything to eat or drink luckily I filled up 20 miles down the road before I got there cause the temperature for those 3 and a half days averaged 100 degrees which in a truck would have been 120 and once again not one of the dot officers did a wellness check or even a random knock on my door to see if I was okay or if I needed anything!! Outraged about it is an understatement!! When I get back to our office I'm consulting our attorney to press possible legal action.

For a month now they have had the prepass off. We pay good money for it and they aren't supposed to shut it off!!!

I dont remember the last time these scales were actually closed.
I dont care if they are as my rig is pretty tight, along with everything else.
But do you guys ever take a break?
Aside from that, the officers Ive dealt with there are professional, and dont treat you like garbage.
At least thats my experience.
