More then 5 hours for delivery! Truck drivers avoid this place!

After 5 hours of delivering, guy from receiving office sad. Usually is more then 7 hours but today you have a lucky! Congratulations!
Super fun from the guy! I think this is so disrespectful to the truck drivers!
Guy who said this he siting all day in chair and use his phone for fun! 100% talking on Badoo and Tinder to find some girl for fun! Or find some man, he looks like he can be on both side!

Driver tried to back in my curved, downhill driveway and plowed over my parcel box. Destroyed the parcel box completely. Only then did they decide to turn around and come into try driveway the proper way. Driver didn’t say anything, I only discovered it the following morning. Childish and irresponsible.

As a business owner I sometimes have to order stuff from my distributors and sometimes they have to use Ward trucking to deliver to me and some of my distributors I have the option to use Holland trucking company and Holland trucking companies are phenomenal but Ward trucking I don't get my shipments on the promise due dates and there has been times it has been 1 to 3 days late it is unacceptable with that being said do not use Ward trucking it is a unreliable company if I could give them zero Stars I would

Laughably bad experience with Ward. A shipment was picked up a day late from a customer to deliver to us. A day late is pretty understandable and it happens, so no worries there right? They then missed the Monday delivery and I called to move it to Tuesday. They missed that one as well so I told them we were closed Wednesday and to deliver Thursday. Naturally, given their incompetence, they tried to deliver Wednesday at nine in the morning after I'd told them we were closed and to schedule for Thursday.

So Thursday comes and I'm calling again, they don't even bother trying to deliver that day and tell me Friday. Friday afternoon and still nothing, so another phone call and they promise it will be here Monday. Monday...and nothing. Another phone call, rep telling me that terminal is flooded with freight (maybe if you actually DELIVERED some of that freight it wouldn't be so flooded.) and Tuesday was scheduled. As you could guess, still nothing. Each time I've called in at around 11:30 in the morning and am told it's either assigned to a driver, or about to be assigned and it's on track for delivery that day. Then another phone call at about 4pm and I'm told it was never assigned to a driver and it's rescheduled for the next day.

It's now the following Friday as I'm writing this, so a week and a half late from the original delivery date, and they're still not here. Guarantee that I'll be calling and rescheduling for Monday, a full two weeks late for a delivery, and fingers crossed it actually shows up and isn't destroyed and mangled from their inability to deliver it for two weeks. Go with literally any other freight company over Ward, the absolute worst we've ever dealt with.

Absolutely awful company. If you find out they are responsible for delivering something to you, make other arrangements at ALL COSTS!

I had a very large item originally scheduled to be delivered late last week, only to get rescheduled by them this past Friday, to be delivered between 9am & 12pm today (Tuesday). I took off work to be here only to have no one bother show up, much less attempt to contact me at any point, so I called at 1pm to be told the delivery simply did not go out today & they can try scheduling it for tomorrow.

My parents ordered a recliner and were called to schedule a delivery. Monday between 10 and 2 was chosen, but no one showed up. On Tuesday, I placed a phone call to Ward (because we received no follow up or explanation as to why the product never arrived). I spoke with Tracy and was told that she would contact my father to arrange a new delivery time and that the previous day, the truck blew a tire.

Tracy left a voice-mail indicating that the recliner would be delivered Wednesday between 10 and 2 unless she heard otherwise.

On Wednesday, no delivery was made and no phone calls or emails were received. Other than my initial contact with Tracy, she was unreachable and did not return voice mails.

On Thursday, I called customer service and was told they would look into it and call me back by 9 AM. I did not receive a call. I called again and was told I would be called back in 15 minutes. I did not receive a call. It was not until my 3rd call of the morning that I got any information.

When the recliner was finally delivered on Thursday it was left at the end of a 30 foot driveway despite indications that it could be taken inside the house.

While the customer service reps that I spoke with were friendly, the lack of follow through and communication unacceptable. This company should be embarrassed.

I ordered a giant parrot cage and a few other oversized items from a website. The poundage totaled over 330lbs, warranting the use of a freight company. They informed me Ward would be the trucks bringing it to my home. I immediately looked up reviews and got nervous from all the bad ones. The company I ordered from said Ward would call me to set up a delivery time. Falling in line with other reviews I never got a call, they just sent me an email saying they were coming that day and never gave a timeframe. Thankfully there is always someone at my home or that would have been a big problem and this is why I am deducting one star.
But my delivery man was beyond amazing! I have nothing but good things to say about him. I wish I had gotten his name. I live in a very confusing neighborhood with poorly labeled road signs but the driver found his way to my home easily. I also did not order the extra cost lift gate option but the driver was more than happy to lower the pallet down off the truck with it. He also helped me cut off the plastic from my order and move some of the lighter boxes down my 20' driveway to shelter. It was mid December and rainy that day. He also helped me load the super heavy items onto my small dolly and helped me guide it down the driveway. This would have been very difficult without the help since my driveway is deep gravel and the wheels dug in under the weight. All this took us a good 20 minutes. He didn't have to do any of that, but he absolutely went above and beyond to help me with my order. Nothing arrived damaged and even the boxes were in pristine condition.
