Employees are a bit lazy. Gotta wait forever in line even if you did online booking. When you return equipment nobody cares. Make sure you take plenty of pictures when returning. Some equipment is not functioning well. Make sure to have a can of wd40 with you. Otherwise price is ok.

Rented small truck for quick local move iob. Received truck with little gas (far less than 1/4 tank), and it was not made clear how much gas, if any, was needed for return. Mileage was definitely under 15. We ended up being charged $130 for the rental, due to mileage and fuel surcharge. Claimed we should have returned with 1/4 tank. If so, why wasn’t it 1/4 full at pickup Claimed more miles than we actually used, and said it was our fault for not taking pictures. Rude customer service. Ended up getting a resolution to remove fuel charge. But how many people get dinged on this and just pay it? Be warned.

DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCAMMED.

My husband rented a truck from there today, and when he returned it the employee told him he didn’t return it with the correct amount of gas. Even though he had filled it back up with the amount he used. When he told her he would leave and fill it, she refused to let him. She said it would be a $54 charge no matter what. Then she said “unless you tip me”. Which, he laughed at. Then she said “no, I’m serious”. So he tipped her $10 to get out of the situation. Which, completely cleared up the “$54 charge”.

I don’t know why he actually did this and why he didn’t call her manager or corporate. But… I just hope she really needed that $10. Because… that’s a pretty horrible thing to do to somebody.

Yet, here we are.

I can’t tell you what to do, but I highly suggest going somewhere else.

Do not store your belongings here on GOODHOPE rd. Roaches, Rats, bugs. I had yo throw away a brand new bedroom set due to Rat feces on the mattresses. The night stand had roach eggs and other bugs in the drawers. Good thing I had insurance on my belonging. That's the only way you could get them to refund and pay for your property. If I wouldnt have got the insurance, I would have lost everything. I'll never store anything else at this location on GOODHOPE rd.
