If they are delivering add an extra week got their inability to deliver in a timely fashion. If you can use other carriers it would be wise. I love that their website lists their new “facts” tracking system. There was no need, they give you the sane answer as before, “check back tomorrow…”. Had a shipment from another company with the item over 1000 miles further away then my shipment that was sitting in Milwaukee at their depot and received it sooner. Pathetic…will instruct all agents going forward if they are considering using this company for my shipping they can cancel my orders…

I arrived on the morning of 1/10/17 to pick up a item that they were holding at their terminal for me. The item was a transmission and Differential assembly for a 2010 Z06 Corvette and was on a large pallet. When I arrived I was directed to a office where an employee was arguing about punching in and getting to work, the whole situation was uncomfortable and unprofessional. That employee the was instructed to take me into their shipping area to look at the shipment, everything looked great but at this point things went downhill. The employee said that he could not drive the for lift down the ramp because it was "icy" and he would need to load my truck from a loading dock that was nearly a 2' drop to the level of my pickup bed. The ramp had some ice on it but was not bad, I have spent years working in places with forklifts and it would have been fine to drive down that ramp, the employee just didn't want to risk getting stuck. So I explained to him that if he can load it from the dock without damaging my truck or the package that I was fine with it. I backed up to the dock and not only did the shipment get dropped by a foot to the bed of my truck but it also damaged my tailgate because instead of setting it in the bed he pushed it and put deep gouges in my truck. So at this point he did two things I told him not to do, damaged my truck and dropped the shipment. I am attempting to make contact with the companies management at this time so the their insurance can pay for the damage to my truck caused by the forklift operator.
My entire experience with this company has been awful. Stay away!

This place sucks! I had a shipment that was picked up on Wednesday from Waukegan, IL and delivering to South Milwaukee not even 60 miles and instead of it arriving on Thursday it wasn't going to be delivered until Monday. Had to drive over there and pick it up myself that Friday. This place helped in me losing my job.

US Special Delivery was subcontracted by UPS and Central Freight for several of our recent deliveries to our customers.

One order that was arranged through Central Freight was sitting at the US Special Delivery terminal for several weeks with no calls from them to the customer to set up their residential delivery appt. Our customer called us after getting nowhere with them on the phone. We finally got the residential delivery set up on behalf of our customer for this coming Friday. Today, however with no notice, their truck showed up at our customer's home two days early. Luckily they were home, however the items arrived broken and the customer cancelled their order.

The UPS Freight shipment that was delivered by US Special Delivery was only partially delivered and our customers cabinet and mirrors was somehow swapped for a bed. Now our customer has someone else's bed and they do not have their cabinet or mirrors. We understand that damage and mix-ups happen but it seems there is a level of incompetence in the US Special Delivery fulfillment chain. Every time we or our customer calls for updates on the dock sweep for their lost items, we have to explain the problem as if it's the first time. They have cost our business thousands in lost profits and human resources.

Whatever you do, try to use freight companies that do not subcontract their final mile deliveries through US Special Delivery.

This company was hired to deliver 5 pallets of liquid chlorine to my store on Friday. The truck was actually carrying 6. One of which wasn't completely demolished, but still leaning a fair bit. The entire truck was filled with spilled chlorine. I refused the load twice. I did try to help him clean it up, but there were too many risky cases. When I called Monday morning US Special had blamed it on the company I was purchasing from citing too little plastic wrap. I receive this product weekly for my entire 15 years at this company and have NEVER one time had an issue with leaning or toppled pallets. NEVER. This was by far my worst experience with any carrier and I have has some incidents with damage before. This company clearly had no business delivering this type of product and if that's how a load of hazardous chemicals is carried, I don't want to know how they carry anything else.

They must hire truck drivers that CANNOT READ. Friday, February 7, 2020 at 3:50pm, one of your trucks go flying down West Oakwood Road, in Oak Creek. The number on his truck is 65227. The speed limit on our road is 25mph, it is a 3 ton, no trucking, residential road. Signs posted everywhere. He was going east bound to Oakview Business Park. Teach your drivers the rules of the road. Use flash cards so that they can recognize the road signs.

As someone else stated, expect your shipments to arrive a week or more late. . . Seems like this company doesn't care at all about anything!
