The glowing review I wrote a few years ago still haunts me. I finally took it down after seeing that others also experienced similar disappearing items and feel awful for recommending this company to others.

Here’s what happened so you can make a more informed decision:

In 2023 I praised them for a long distance, extremely short notice move from Northeast TN to Conway, AR in December of 2022. HOWEVER, the movers either lost or helped themselves to an irreplaceable 2ft blue glass jar of coins we had been collecting for about 9 years, 2 professionally hand-painted one-of-a kind piggy banks belonging to our 2 children, and our cordless impact driver, among some other lesser value items that I’ve still never found.

We tipped them each $50 or $100 bucks cash ahead of time in good faith, plus purchased lunch for them after everything was unloaded, and I believe given them an additional $20 each in cash at the end.

We assumed the best at first, and believed we just had yet to unpack them. After we finally unpacked the last box 6 months later looking for the jar when my child lost a tooth, we could confirm these items were truly missing.

I left the review up for about 2 years because the move would have been impossible without them. However after seeing others had their stuff stolen, I couldn’t leave such a review for someone else to believe all of their belongings would be safe with this company. I honestly don’t trust any movers to not steal some items anymore.

Good things that deserve a star: The price was fair for such a huge full-service packing and moving job with such a fast turnaround time. Casey who arranged everything was wonderful to work with. The movers were polite and efficient. We are not tidy people and it was a huge undertaking, overwhelming even, so I felt awful “making” someone else do it. They even disassembled the kid’s beds for us to fit them in the truck, with our impact driver and bits. The dollhouse we had been told by other companies was impossible to move such a distance without breaking was fully intact upon arrival.

There were still plenty of things we had to leave behind, because they “wouldn’t fit” on the largest sized truck they offer, even though I could see plenty of vertical space. We had a lot of stuff though in that 700-800sq ft 2 bedroom rental house. Not everything was packed in a moving box. Some were loaded in used boxes, milk crates, and paper lawn bags we had already stuff in. I didn’t care a long as everything made it there. It was a bummer though having to part with what was left that wouldn’t fit in our small car. We had to discard an area rug that would have been useful in our new place.

I first heard about Two Men and a Truck when my husband used them to move from Kansas to Nebraska. The moving experience was phenomenal. We were told not to lift a finger, and they replaced a large mirror from a bedroom set that had been broken during transit, no problem. That was the same year we started saving coins in that tall blue jar.

Regarding this move and the missing items, my husband said they just must have needed it more than we did. I’ll never know if that’s true. Maybe these items were stolen from the truck by someone else when the movers spent the night somewhere in between packing and driving the 9.5 hours to our new place. Maybe these items were broken and “swept under the rug,” so to speak. Maybe they were put in the cabin for some reason and they forgot to unload them. Maybe the movers thought they deserved these items more than our family, with no consideration for the kids. Maybe we had so much stuff that they thought we wouldn’t notice the missing items. I’ll never know.

It still breaks my heart though when I need to get coins for a lost tooth or my kids need to squirrel away cash in whatever container we can find around…I’ll never be able to replace the piggy banks that “went missing.” The boxes are great boxes though. Sturdy, good for multiple moves. Even my kids found fun ways to reuse them.

I used this company for a small job IPn Kentucky three years ago. A wonderful experience. Small job then but such nice people.
Called them for a full load and unload gor an approx 300 mile move. They were superior. They were very efficient, polite and so safe with my belongs and fast. No lolly gagging at all.. The lady that set things in was so reassuring on my time and how smooth it would go and she was sure was correct. THANK YOU TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

Courtney and team did a fantastic job moving my son out of his one bedroom apartment. They were a few minutes early, started on time, and finished in 2 hours including unloading at a storage room. I’m requesting his team when he moves into his next apartment!

Exceeded all expectations! Used other companies in the past that did subpar work to say the least. We looked around and chose to use Two Men & a Truck to move our entire apartment + additional stop to storage to our new home 100+ miles away. Casey coordinated everything and was such a great help with getting an adequate quote, scheduling and communicating every step. Courtney & Ty were our movers and we could not have asked for a better team. They were very polite, kind, respectful, efficient, and took care of all of our belongings. They even helped us set up our washer & dryer, bed frames, and more. We will be using Two Men & a Truck for every move!

Our entire process was great from start to finish!!!Casey was wonderful to work with! She was professional, knowledgeable and very accommodating! Our movers, Sam and Courtney were wonderful as well!
Our belongings were very well taken care of. They were both so courteous and friendly, while also staying professional!
They had three different stops for delivering our belongings and they were prompt with all of them!

My experience with Two Men and a Truck could not have been better. Scheduling was a breeze (and I had a pick up at a storage facility and my house). The team lead on the truck, Kevin, was a pleasure to work with and his crew stayed busy. I scheduled for 7 hours and they finished in 5. And yes, they charged me for 5 hour reducing my overall expense.

Professionally done, no scratches or breaks.

Whole hardly recommend this company.

I recently moved for the first time by myself from Heber Springs, AR to Bryant, AR. I heard about Two Men and A Truck through a friend and thought I'd try it out. Their website is extremely easy to use along with their staff on the phone being easy to get along with and answered all the questions I had. Moving day was a breeze. Courtney and Samuel were my movers and did a fabulous job. They were professional and made quick work. I will definitely be using Two Men and a Truck again and will ask for Courtney and Samuel to be my movers in the future if possible.
