Had my stuff stored in this storage unit for 4 to 5 years because at that time during covid, no other storages were available. It's been there since covid. It is infested with rats, rat poop and pee all over. While most my stuff was brand new in this storage, im sure everything is damaged. No pest control at all, contacted the number and the owner was suppose to call back. Never recieved a call, we told them this rodent issue 3 years ago and still no resolution. My next response is contacting the state. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! There is a reason they have one stars for a very long time now from many others. The area is horrible, no good customer service, and once again it is infested with rodents. This is a health concern, and I will contact the city/state about it. There are many other storage facilities in town that are top of the line for a much better price. You see in their response they did not deny the rodent infestation, which led to me not paying my monthly fee for this disease carrying rodent issue, and they still locked me out. Like who cares, you can have that disease loaded trash. Good luck, I lived 5 years without it. I will buy all brand new stuff again.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE! I was not familiar with the facility and rented a unit online that was to be an interior climate controlled unit. I arrived and read the email and had only an access code to a gate. They say it is a “state of the art” facility and what their idea of security was, was a padlock on a gate. And it was not an interior climate-controlled unit, it was an exterior unit. There are two buildings parallel to each other and the driveway leading in is impossible damaged, steep, and narrow with no way to turn around. Good luck getting in there. So I call the phone number and get a call center and someone who barely speaks English. He tells me he’ll put in a request for reply from the management. I don’t have time to wait as I need to unload immediately so I tell him to cancel the rental I had just made last night and have never accessed. It has now been 5 days and I’ve called several times but my debit card was still charged and each time I call I’m told that “management” has not yet responded to the request. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB but get the word out this place is shady AF.

Rented a storage unit and when we get there the code to the lock on the gate didn't work and when we called them to let them know it wasn't working all they have to say is were putting in the code wrong when we were very clearly putting the code in right and when we asked to send someone out they said they aren't able to send anyone today even though we were there within their operations hours and when we just asked for a refund for our $200 we spent the guy just said he can give our number to the owner and he might get back to us in 24-48 hours. Don't use them if you want your storage unit the same day or want to be able to get to your stuff reliably.

A year ago I would have given a good review but trying to end my rental changed that. Apparently they use an answering service and I kept getting put on hold when I called to cancel my rental agreement. I finally got someone on the phone and thought it was taking care of until the first of the month, when I was charged rent again. I tried calling several times and couldn't reach anyone without being put on hold for too long. I finally emailed the owner and was told he had cancelled the rental agreement and issued a refund. I never received the refund and when I emailed again, never received a reply. Enjoy the $50

I have rented from Towson Ave Storage for over nine months and I am very happy with my unit and the entire facility.The facility is very clean and well maintained. The new owner and his staff are excellent. They continue to make improvements and I love the art work on the building. Very bright and cheerful.
