Update:I would like to update this review.
Since new management took over in Feb of 2022 there has been a shift in customer service and the vibe if the store when you wall in is so much more welcoming. I applaud S&S on the changes and will continue to be a loyal customer

S&S Home center Ace hardware store. Its convenient for all the small things you need when you can't go to Home depot. And besides it's big enough for the little things and close enough . People are nice and courteous and very helpful . I like the size of the place . Like I said it's big enough for our small communities around here .

Do not shop here... Workers needs to work on customer service skills... When a customer purchase an item tell them no refund before you take the customer money... Will never shop here again... This is what I get trying to support a small town store... Police was called for nothing... My $362.16 could had been well spent out of town...

They worms are horrible. Hardly big enough to go on the hook. They are not even in a cold box. Just sitting on the shelve. They also have yellow junk that oozes out of them. Box says GIANT RED WORMS. Ok whatever. Didn't want to give 1 star but couldn't post unless I did

Good selection of hardware/home products, tools, garden supplies, etc. I've found them competitive with the big box stores and the online stores. Sorry to see the negative posts about needing a grocery store. S & S is not a grocery chain and made a business decision to locate in Stamps. We needed a hardware too.
