This ferry takes you across Bull Shoals Lake on Hwy 125. It's newer, quiet operating and the best part is...it's FREE.

Would give TEN STARS if I could.
This experience was every little girl's dream and I'm 64!! That ferry just glided over that beautiful lake and the two men running the operation was as sweet and kind as imaginable. Leaving the Arkansas Side to the Missouri, my friend and I drove off the ferry right into a park and enjoyed our picnic then within the 40- minute turnaround, drove right back on and got back off and continued on our way home from church. What a "precious memories" detour. It was such fun, we plan to be "regular" riders! I wholeheartedly recommend this adventure. Daily sunup till sundown. Free.

The Peel Ferry operates on Highway 125 between the 125 Recreation Area and The Buck Creek Recreation Area. This is the last remaining operating ferry in Arkansas. The ride across the lake is pleasant and gives you great views of Bull Shoals Lake. Everyone on the ferry is very polite and professional. It is definitely worth taking this route if you have the chance.
