Your driver in truck 2019 with trailer 8754 needs more safety training, he tried to force his way into my lane of travel twice, I’ve been driving for over 8.5 years, and in that time I have never seen a more reckless driver, I was blowing my air horn as he forced me to hit my breaks so he could get over, this is 100% unsafe, and illegal. It’s drivers like the ones at your company that give the rest of us a bad reputation, you should be ashamed, I know I would be

This is not a quality company to use. Experienced their driver being extremely reckless and cutting individuals off in traffic through the Cincinnati area this late afternoon. Obviously, this transportation company does not train their drivers nor monitor their work. Before doing business with this company, please know you will be doing business with a brand that does not care about the safety of individuals on our highways.

I was fresh out of CDL school and chose this company because of how well they sold themselves and what I know now was my naïveté. They fly you to their Wisconsin headquarters where they had the friendliest staff.. looking back now I realize these people were “too” friendly. After my two weeks of training, I was flown back home and sent to my nearest terminal to pick up my truck. Let the problems begin: I get there and none of the staff have a clue why I’m there, they don’t have a truck ready for me, they barely had trucks there that weren’t assigned. They managed to scrounge one up but it needed to be repaired and set up for me. So they sent me back to the hotel I was in. I go in the next day same problem and now the manager they assigned to me tells me she is no longer my manager and doesn’t know who is. So for about 5 hrs, I’m just on the yard waiting for instruction.. they finally call me and tell me to go home and come back on Monday. Monday comes and truck is still not fixed..Tuesday…Wednesday they finally fix it enough to send me on my way. The truck had a musty/sweaty odor on top of an ant problem. I noticed my tablet wasn’t charging, I ask management about it, he dismisses it and says don’t worry. I was on paper logs for the next two weeks because of this. I’ll stop here but just know the problems persisted from the kingpin not releasing because the fifth wheel was replaced improperly, the ants, the new manager lack of experience, no one checking on new drivers, barely making miles, and a slew of other issues. Unless you live in the Midwest, this company doesn’t really focus on its drivers in the south. Two stars because the guaranteed minimum was nice. I stayed for 4 months. Got let go when a driver called me a “not so nice name for dark people” and they said the way I responded to that was not in accordance with company policy.. everything worked out for the best tho.

DO NOT BOOK LOADS WITH THEM.
They lied about our delivery appt and my drivers ended up waiting about 10hours at the receiver. During those times me and the broker agreed on $505 detention. Once my guys got fully empty and we sent the POD they are saying they can only send us $350 for detention. They did not answer emails and ignored us when my guys arrived at the shipper and were having problems with the appt time. They lie and do not pay you your money.

I've been with PTI for 4 months, trucking for 18 years. They pay well and keep me running. Great home time and no east coast. They also have some great fleet options.

Inward facing cameras because drivers like myself REFUSE to work for companies who can't trust their employees. Been there, done that, and won't do it again. Inward facing cameras can hang a driver just as fast as it can help them. I'd rather be a wolf than a sheep in this big brother over-regulated industry with a SPOTLESS driving record.
