They are a absolute joke !
Literally do not waste your time ! I have 20 + years experience no wrecks ever no moving violations ever and apparently made a typo on my online app and the recruiter sent a email and blocked me. They were going to pay $ .35 per mile
Which is about half of industry standard. Don't waste your time... Any other company will literally be better than Pam.
NEVER GIVE PAM TRANSPORTATION 1 MINUTE OF YOUR TIME ! YOU CAN DO BETTER !!

I’ve had an outstanding experience with PAM Transport over the past year! The company is truly dedicated to both its employees and clients. Quite possibly the best people working at PAM Transport, all I've ever met was highly skilled and valuable individuals whether it comes to drivers all the way to executive level. The executive team does not sway away from introducing themselves to drivers and ground level operations as their equal, and I believe that is the core to any great transportation company. The support is there for wherever you would like to be at in PAM, all you have to do is ask and the people at PAM will jump at the opportunity to assist you with any and all needs!

All I’m going to say is… if you want to make some money don’t come here! This company did nothing but steal from me and I never got a real paycheck and I was on the road for 3 months straight! No home time! And my checks was trash! They don’t pay you much so you struggle and run hard then they promise you it’ll get better but it never does!
I wasted my time at this come! I worked hard and at the end got nothing out of it but headache! I’m very disappointed with this company. These other reviews have to be bots because the complaints I’ve heard from other drivers were terrible! Find you a good paying local company and be with your family! I struggled because of this company.

Pam Transport - 11 Years of Loyalty, Completely Disregarded. Poor Ass Management
After 11 years of loyalty to Pam Transport and mentoring countless new drivers, I’m beyond frustrated and disappointed with how I’ve been treated by the company—especially by the Student Department and management. Despite my commitment and dedication to both the company and the next generation of drivers, I was completely screwed over, particularly when I made the decision to become an owner-operator.

They promised me one pay structure as an owner-operator, only to change it at the last minute without any warning. I spent time and money transitioning to this role, and they pulled the rug out from under me. The pay they ended up offering was far below what was originally agreed upon. They clearly have no respect for experienced drivers and seem more interested in cutting costs than honoring their commitments.

As a mentor, I’ve been tasked with training new drivers and setting expectations, but how can I do that when the company itself doesn’t uphold its end of the bargain? The Student Department is a complete mess. They don’t give me the support I need to properly mentor new drivers, and I’ve seen firsthand how little care they put into preparing these rookies for the road. It’s embarrassing to see how poorly new drivers are treated, with inconsistent training and zero follow-through from management.

I’ve given over a decade of my career to Pam Transport, only to be treated like I’m disposable. They’ve made it clear that loyalty means nothing to them, and that they’re willing to screw over even their most experienced employees. If you’re a seasoned driver looking to advance your career or a new driver hoping for solid training, do yourself a favor and stay away from Pam Transport. They’ll overpromise, underdeliver, and leave you feeling cheated.
I’d give them zero stars if I could. They don’t even deserve the benefit of having one star.

I will avoid these brokers in the future, especially Phil Timpe, for not paying a layover for wasted days at the receiver. Load was booked to deliver on Saturday and the receiver could not unload us until Monday. Driver lost 2 extra days on that load and they could not pay us layover.. Very poor business, totally against agreement we have signed.

This company is a great company to work for. The environment is relaxed and easy going. Upper management is supportive and considers the ideas brought to the table by the workforce. I have seen many changes in attitude and direction over the past 11 years and it has been positive change. Employees are given room to be creative in their work to accomplish the objectives set forth. The open-door policy is not just lip service. If you need help in your job, there will be folks there to assist. The benefits package is excellent. I have been told by my eye doctor and dentist that PAM's coverages far exceed those of the other major employers in the region. Our medical benefits are second to none. I was truly blessed to be with this company on this benefits package when a major trial came to me. If you want to work at a company where your efforts are recognized and where you are appreciated, come to PAM. This is a place where you can come for your career, not just a job. And you will get out of it what you put into it.
