Visited the Old Spanish Treasure Cave at Sulphur Springs, NW Arkansas on Feb 15, 2025. Despite it being a cold, rainy day - I enjoyed my visit here very much. The cave tour is about 1 hour long - we ‘easy’ walks and is recommended for almost all ages and physique. Paul is the man - the best guide for the tour. Not only is Paul the guide, it’s his property and completely maintained by his family. They are some passionate people when it comes to their cave and all the caves around. We had a fantastic time there. The gift shop is also very nice and beautiful. There are a lot of souvenirs available at very affordable prices.

It’s not the place that makes or experience great, it’s the people who make it great. We will definitely revisit this place and get some souvenirs and will recommend all my friends visiting here to visit this place.
We purchased 6 tickets ($21 per head + taxes) but before the tour began, one of my friends had to pull out because her infant daughter was not in the mood. Paul went up and above to make sure he refunds that 1 ticket without us even asking, he wasn’t liable but he did it anyway.

Thanks again for the experience. And I wish and hope that you guys find more and more joy in your passion and love for caves.

I took some friends from Louisiana here. This was my first time visiting but my wife had been here years ago. The owners work the gift shop and were very friendly. The tour guide was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable he told us the history and background stories in the cave. The cave itself is pretty decent in size and has been mapped for several miles but the tour only goes in about 3/4 of a mile. On a neat note in the large room they call the council room they show movies during the weekend and people bring lawn chairs and enjoy, think they were playing Hocus pocus 2 when we went, that would be a fun experience.

I've lived in NWA for 40 years and finally made it to the Old Spanish Treasure Cave. It's worth the drive to check this place out. Paul is an awesome guide. He's extremely knowledgeable about the cave and welcomes questions. Come check out this hidden gen in NWA.

This is a neat cave with a guided tour. The guides run each group through for roughly an hour, then allow 30 minutes in between each tour for everyone to browse the gift shop and so the next group to buy their tickets. It's a small-scale operation to protect and preserve the cave itself. We brought high-powered flashlights to see some of the deeper stalagmites and formations better. It's a great vacation stop.

I absolutely loved being able to tour the cave or tour guide was very friendly and very informative, The views were amazing I would totally recommend going. All of the staff was so nice. The owner was very sweet as well. I loved learning the history behind the cave. I also love the Halloween decorations sprinkled in!

Great cave, worth checking out. I love the stories surrounding the cave about the hidden treasure. Visit and see if you can find it. Our guide was nice and we were able to hold on a tour as soon as we arrived.

Stop here on one of our weekend road trips. It is a very nice cave and the guide did a very nice job telling the history of the cave and pointing out all of the formations. It had a nice gift shop that we got to add a new shirt to our collection. Also has a nice area were you can buy a sack of dirt to see what you can find at the water sleuth.
