Moore Fogg's didn't do the bare minimum to help me when one of their customers tried to scam me using their services. I ordered a grill on Amazon from a third party seller. On delivery day, near the end of the delivery window, I called Moore Fogg's to ask exactly what time it was scheduled to arrive.

The man on the phone told me that the customer (the Amazon seller) had called them and told them to return the package to sender because it had been a "fraudulent purchase." At this point, I knew the seller was trying to scam me, so I asked the Moore Fogg's associate to email me what the customer had said, so I'd have evidence that the seller and not me was at fault (in these situations, it's your word against the scammer's, so having a neutral third party corroborating your story is super helpful.)

The associate flatly refused to email me what he had just told me on the phone, because he didn't "know me" and that his duty was to the customer, not me, whose name was on the delivery bill. Fair enough to prioritize the person who gave them money and to return the shipment to sender, but all I was asking was to send a simple, truthful email! It'd have cost him nothing, and it could have been the difference between me losing $300.

Worst of all, they marked it "Delivered" in the tracking system, even though it was returned to sender. Thankfully Amazon sided with me and refunded me, but I will never recommend a business that wouldn't send a simple truthful email to someone in trouble.
