This place is incredible! We just got a half hog and it tastes wonderful. The breakfast sausage is the best we have had in years. But the service was the best. The ordering was made so easy by the very kind and knowledgeable lady in the office. She asked just the right questions to make sure we got exactly what we needed. We will be returning for beef when we need some!

We were quoted $5 back in sept of 2023 per pound, with 45 packages of ground beef. Came out to 61 pounds of ground beef. To keep it simple, we got 143.89 pounds of beef for $1195.00 Figured the price per cut if we'd gone to Hudson's in Harrison. Total we paid right at $200 more at Makin Bacon. The staff was real nice and the packaging looks good. We are looking forward to eating some of this Beef.

This is great tasting beef, nice yellow fat that melts in the mouth. I've learned that the yellow fat means grass fed and finished. We are still trying to get our cost down since we are carnivore and eat a ton of beef, but this is good quality meat and I recommend Makin Bacon.

We had purchased a side of beef and two sides of pork from Weaver Farms and enjoyed every ounce of the meats that they prepared for us. We have not purchased much meat beside chicken from any regular store in just about over a year. The quality is unmatched by any regular store. My best to John and all who fulfilled our orders.

This is our second time having our beef processed there. Love the friendly helpful staff. Our meat was packaged in vacuum sealed bags, which is better than the paper, in my opinion. We highly recommend them.

This place is legit. We've dealt with them twice now, the first time for beef, the second time a pig. They are so knowledgeable, professional, helpful.... and oh my goodness do they do a good job seasoning sausage and curing meats! I can't say enough good! There's so much risk taking your animal for butchering, but we've finally found someone we can trust.

Worst butcher I have seen in a while. All the chops are so irregularly cut you can’t even cook them on the grill. The plastic bags they seal the meat in is so cheap it freezer burns in a week. The lamb we had them butcher was already burnt when we picked it up.

I hope they get a handle on ii but until then take your meat which costs an arm and a leg to begin with.

Purchased a whole hog and a whole beef. Service was fantastic, Johnny Weaver understands customer service and listens to his customers. Now as to the beef and the pork we purchased, fantastic flavor and tender, I will not buy my meat from the store again!

Beef was processed as ordered. Fair pricing despite there being a high demand right now for meat processing. First time to use them but won't be the last. Other processors don't include tongue or liver unless you specify. They even included the tail bone & gave us tips on preparation. Very friendly.
