We've used Mad City Moving twice now (a move across the state, then a move within the Madison metro), and both times they've been fantastic. Joe and Samash were prompt, communicative of timelines (like when they were going to arrive so I could plan leaving work and meet them there), handled all of our stuff with care (and when some of your furniture is glass-topped antique tables and intricate wood carvings, that's important!).

Basically the best possible experience short of blinking and having all your stuff just show up at your new home. We will absolutely be using them again for any other moves anyone in our family does anywhere near this area.

I am a disabled resident of Dane County and after five years at my current residence, I have to move. My caseworker helped me out by arranging for Mad City Moving to get my belongings to a storage facility. Mad Mad City Moving Manager Brenda Roessler scheduled the move only eight days after we requested their services. Yesterday morning their movers James and Mike were at my door exactly when I was told to expect them. They backed their truck up an alley a couple hundred feet long as close to the house as possible. Most of my stuff was in thirty five or so storage bins located throughout the house, but I am making a mahogany bed and all the parts had to be moved individually from the basement. In addition, they safely moved a few pieces of heirloom furniture I own. Getting to the truck involved going down seven wet steps from a small porch, across a fifteen foot stone path then twenty feet down the driveway. In about four hours, James and Mike loaded their truck, drove to my locker a half hour away, unloaded my stuff and put it in my third story locker. These guys were absolutely on top of their game the whole time they worked. They had a bag to protect my mattress and moved everything without any damage to my property or residence. I highly recommend Mad City Movers for your next move.

We had a great experience with Mad City Moving. First, our team of Mark M., John B., and Kaevon B., was professional and took great care of my mom's furniture. The guys were friendly and efficient and got the move completed quickly. My mom was moving to an assisted living community within Dane County and because she was downsizing, the moving company was willing to accommodate an additional drop-off of some heavy items at our house on the way to the assisted living. This really helped us out! I also learned that they will do junk removal, which is offered at a small extra fee at the time of the move. Fortunately, we were able to give away a heavy sofa sleeper the day before the move, so we didn't need the service, but I was glad to hear it was available if needed. The price was very reasonable and I highly recommend Mad City Moving.

The Mad City Moving team made sure everything was securely protected - and they handled the challenges of weight, combined with stairs, amazingly well! The guys were very respectful and friendly. Amazing experience and the best money I have ever spent. We hired Mad City Moving to unload our two vehicles and move out daughter into her dorm room. She’s on the third floor with no elevator or air conditioning. It was also 95 degrees out the day she moved in. They were on time, very professional and fast. It was so easy to set-up.
