Gallo moving is my go-to for moving, whether a large or small job. They moved my friend today and they are so helpful, patient, incredibly nice (and more) that they made her moving experience a pleasure!

We were so pleased with their services, scheduling, the movers, plus everything went very smoothly and Gallo is also extremely easy to work with. A huge thank you to Bill Bailot for always taking great care of us clients. He is terrific!

If there were 20 stars, I would give it to them. From start to end, and everything in between, this company exceeded all expectations, hopes and dreams! Leaving my town of almost 40 years (Hudson, MA) to downsize and retire to the Cape was a difficult and emotional decision. And no amount of planning can help you get rid of decades of lifetime treasures (and garbage). We did massive purging a year in advance... and then realized that we'd be over our head in trying to move on our own. The process starts with a home/stuff assessment. Timely, professional, courteous, friendly - the works. Super honest, not over or under selling (we actually went over by only $100 from the initial quote, totally our fault...). Office staff? ON POINT, helpful, cheery, professional. THEN THE DAY ARRIVES. Day 1, they came to pack. The 3 amigos - Jeff, Tom and Duncan. We walk through. Jeff could see the sadness overcoming me. SUPER reassuring, so professional and sweet. They all looked at each other and then on queue, off they go to the races. FAST. CLEAN. With utmost care for the property and the stuff. (I fed them TC Lando's from Hudson, which I think gave them even more energy!), These guys pack, haul, move, clean up after themselves like a well-oiled and orchestrated team. Day 2 - the MOVE. Same deal, in reverse. FAST. EFFICIENT. THEY COVERED OUR DOORS WITH MOVING BLANKETS TO PROTECT THEM FROM DINGS! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?

The service is NOT cheap, and it shouldn't be. It's a hard job. But one you need to have done the right way or don't bother. No job is too big or too small. Reliable. ON TIME. They do what they say they will - no shenanigans, no whining, no cussing, no temper tantrums. Just good work. This has to be our last move. But if I need help in getting our stuff out of storage, I'm 100% calling them again!

Chris came and did the quote promptly. I didn’t have to enter all of my belongings through a website. He did it all for me during a walkthrough with an iPad. When moving day came, Mike and his crew were absolutely wonderful both during the loading and unloading phases. I couldn’t have done it by myself and I’m so thankful for their expertise and their kindness. Thank you all so much!

Gallo Moving moved my elderly mother to a local retirement facility.

We hired Gallo for our move in July and then for my elderly parents this October. In the process I’ve had the privilege of working with two moving crews (a total of 9 folks, including one father-son duo this summer).
Every single person on both crews was polite and professional. They worked at a good pace but with none of the bravado that can lead to broken stuff. They navigated a narrow winding driveway and narrow Boston streets with ease. When moving in, they were patient as we decided where rugs and large furniture was going. Nobody ever felt rushed into a decision or judged for not knowing every aspect in advance. I felt like I was part of a team.
Every single person on both crews was kind, compassionate, and gentle. Moving is stressful and full of emotions. This was especially true for my parents. They were given respect and never felt judged for the amount of stuff they brought into their downsize move. When the crew was leaving after all was said and done, hugs and handshakes were exchanged with true warmth.
Finally, their estimates were spot on.
I highly recommend Gallo.

Moving can be stressful, but Gallo took so much out of the stress of our recent move. We appreciated Bill's visit to our home to do inventory, talk through the move and give the personal touch. After speaking with him we could tell we would be in really good hands. Then Scott took excellent care of us on moving day and we felt very confident that we'd be taken care of. During the move an item was damaged and because I'd gotten the insurance the team made us whole extremely quickly and we really appreciated that. I'd recommend Gallo to anyone looking for movers and would definitely go with them for any future moves.

Beginning to end easy. I highly recommend Gallo Moving.
Bill came to house to estimate. Friendly and helpful, provided estimate and responded to later questions quickly.
Office called day before with time as promised. Movers (Johan, Luis and Jose) arrived on time. They were professional, pleasant and efficient. A few things I thought would be difficult, they responded with “no problem” and did it. 95% of boxes went where they were marked to go, nothing was damaged and final bill was less than estimate.
Moving is stressful and the Gallo people made things easier.

Gallo Moving was the best experience that I have had with a moving company. They were very quick and effective with the move both with loading everything from our old house and then putting everything in the appropriate location in our new house. I would highly recommend them for any type of moving job.
