Very disappointed with Flexport. After using them many times for importing, they all of a sudden ghosted me. I submitted a request for a quote. After waiting several days with no response to the quote I emailed them. I received no response from that either. Now I have goods waiting overseas and have to scramble to line up another freight forwarder.
If you don’t want my business that's fine Flexport, but at least be professional enough to let me know so I can move on with another company.

I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to warn other small business owners who may be looking at using Flexport. Flexport has known about my shipment since February (it is now May) and has missed 2 sailings due to their incompetence and lack of experience as an exporter.

Also, their communication is terrible. I was constantly told through the process everything was good and nothing else was needed. Then my sailing date would come around and suddenly all these issue would pop up concerning documentation. For a company that is supposed to provide customs and brokerage services, they seem to have a lot of issues understanding and obtaining basic documentation and would repeatedly place the burden onto my team, which I have never seen from an "exporter" before.

I also had to provide the same pieces of information multiple times (they lost it). My goods have been sitting for several months now and still haven't moved. Avoid this company at all costs, they promise fast shipping times but their incompetence provides nothing but delays.

This company needs to require their drivers have some ability to speak English. Drivers are all over the country, yet unable to effectively communicate to conduct business. This is very unprofessional and frankly, it makes Flexport look unprofessional.

Had a sales guy stop by my office for a presentation. Great technology they're working with and we were excited to explore further possibilities going forward but never received a follow up from him as promised.
I think they're only interested in working with very large volumes and that's totally understandable when you're trying to maximize profit but it can be communicated better rather than displaying such unprofessional behavior.

Pretty bad experience right off the bat. Submitted a quote request. They said I’d receive a quote in 24 hours.

Waited for two days... nothing, crickets. I called them and I was forwarded to a voicemail. I left a message, and a few days later still nothing.

I called again, and was advised to send an email. I finally got a response asking about the volume of the shipment.

Apparently, 6-10 shipments per year is not big enough for them. That would have been fine if they said that right away or put this info on their website. I will not use or recommend Flexport.

Terrible. Just Terrible. Stay away.
Great portal. Pricing is fair to good. But then it is all downhill. Delays. not the ocean issues affecting everyone worldwide, delays that are directly attributable to Flexport and their choice of ocean and drayage carriers and their poor communication.
Don't say you weren't warned!
