Had a car shipped through Montway's "premium covered" shipping service, which assigned the job to Carolina Logistics. The pickup was 3 days late and neither I nor Montway could get a hold of the driver during that time. I was in the process of working with Montway to find a different carrier when the driver just showed up at the pickup location with no prior notice.

When it was picked up, the car was in show condition, literally, it was a show car for a custom carbon fiber shop. Upon delivery I noted damage to two wheels where it was clearly clipped tight enough to remove paint and dent the forged monoblocks beneath, and to the front fender where it looks like the clip popped open with enough force to dent the aluminum body panel.

Spent over a month talking with Carolina's claims dept before they finally had their insurance company reach out to inform me that they would not be covering it and I would have to go through my primary insurance. This is in direct contradiction to what I was told when I arranged the shipment, that this service included premium insurance coverage for any damage sustained in transit.

If you care about your time or car at all, don't do business with these scam artists...
