Arkansas Surgical Hospital is the best hospital I have ever been in, and I’ve been hospitalized many times in my 67 years. Dr Edwards performed two surgeries on me at ASH. First, I had a hip replacement surgery, which was followed by a knee revision surgery four months later. The nurses and aides who cared for me after both surgeries could not have been kinder. They were knowledgeable about the hip and knee and were able to explain things to me. The Physical Therapist was great and gave me useful tips. The food was wonderful with a menu to choose from so you get what you want. I don’t want to have any future hospitalization at any other hospital. They are the best!

Both my mother-in-law and my mother have undergone knee replacement surgeries here, and each time, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Moore, who performed the surgeries, was incredibly kind and thorough, taking the time to explain everything in detail so we felt confident and reassured. He made sure we understood every step of the process, which made all the difference. One of the highlights was when the CEO of the hospital himself stopped by to check in on us, asking if there was anything he could do to make our stay even better. This level of personal attention and care is rare, and it really stood out.

My husband had knee replacement surgery at ASH by Dr Bowen. We HIGHLY recommend the Arkansas Surgical Hospital and Dr Bowen. Everyone and we do mean everyone at ASH was helpful, kind and pleasant. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Dr Bowen is fantastic!

My wife had revision surgery on her knee performed by Dr. Baxter at ASH. Truthfully, five stars isn’t enough to rate our satisfaction with our surgeon, the hospital, and the hospital staff. First, revision surgery is generally more painful and difficult. Dr. Baxter completed the surgery in championship form! My wife was literally walking on the same day! Her pain level is very low, and her knee is healing wonderfully (it’s been 3 days since surgery). Dr. Baxter explained the procedure, answered all our questions, and blew our minds by offering to pray with us for a successful surgery! The staff were extremely attentive and always answered our calls in short order. There was no part of our experience that was negative. I will wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Baxter and ASH to my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Baxter, and thank you ASH for your professionalism! You’re at the top of your game!

I had a complete Hip Replacement surgery on Jan 7 2025 with Dr. Hefly at the Arkansas Surgical Hospital. My wife and I stayed overnight at the ASH. We were treated by every one on staff with professionalism and kindness, the rooms were clean and food was great. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone considering surgery. Little Rock is lucky to have such a place.

From doctors, PAs , to Nurses very kind an informative. If you need orthopedic surgery, this is the place to be. 2 days ago, I had a total hip replacement with Dr. Bowen. I'm getting around on the walker very well. The pain today is at least lessened by half of what it was yesterday. I'm on my way to being pain-free, I can feel it !
