My experience with ampm started out good. They were very communicative and picking up my vehicles went well. I gave specifics on my 1968 Firebird I was having transported with another vehicle. They're we're certain details I have about handling this vintage car. The pick up driver even took video of my explanation. The pick up went well. Now the drop of was much different. The drop of driver shoes up at 10.30 pm!! When he got to me it was dark and couldn't really examine my vehicles. The battery on my 68 Firebird was dead, because they didn't follow the instructions I gave them and they left the ignition in the on position! The driver used the mirror on it to get on the trailor to open the hood to jump start it. I had just moved so didn't get to check over my cars till about a week later. When I got in my Firebird and went to adjust the sidemirror it was loose. I called to make a claim and was treated poorly. They contacted me once about it and said they'd get back to me. Haven't heard from them since! In the meantime I repaired the mirror my self. If you decide to use them, I'd make sure they deliver your cars in the daytime and go over them thoroughly!!

I used AMPM to ship my car, received the vehicle with heavy hail damage (approx $8k). I used them because they were local and prior to signing up I specifically asked about coverage, Danny and Ana assured me that they were insured and the transported vehicles were fully covered.

Now they refuse to cover any damage and say that hail damage is not covered. I have to use my insurance which has deductible cost. So not only my car is wrecked, I now have to pay out of pocket.

My first and last interaction with these guys, I would not recommend AMPM.

AMPM Premium Car Carrier exceeded our expectations! What a well run company. During the middle of a COVID outbreak we needed to ship a car back to Illinois from Florida and they handled every aspect of the transport. The staff and the driver were great and they communicated well along the way. So glad we found you!

I used AMPM car transport to ship my car from Indiana to Williamsburg VA. The car was damaged during transport because they used a third party which I had not been told or was aware. Lots of details but unimportant for the review. I spent weeks working out an extremely inexpensive settlement and decided that I’d just have the car completely repainted which would take care of the small knocks and scratches. The only thing I asked was for Danny to assume responsibility for the mirror. The auto body dealer gave me a quote for doing the entire car and then I asked if I were just to take care of the mirror and nothing else, the quote was around $200-250. Since the mirror obviously would be taken care of if completely painted, I asked Danny for the lowest amount of $200. He countered $175 and I just accepted it. The check still hasn’t arrived and this was middle of May. I have left VM and sent emails but no response. Of course when asking for a payment, Danny could be reached within minutes. Highly discourage anyone using this company. It’s a shame customers have to go to these efforts, and now involve attorneys and the Better Business Bureau.

I had arranged with a moving company to transport my car and belongings from Michigan to California. The car transport was to be done by one company and the belongings with another. The range for pick-up was a four day window. The four days came and went with my car in the driveway of the home I was leaving. When the moving company was called, they stated they put the car on a board, and carriers respond if interested (this info was not communicated initially), and there were no carriers interested. Eleven more days passed with the same story. I had left the state, but my car was still in the driveway waiting. Call after call with no results. Then the new tenant was moving in and my car had to be moved. Was this really happening? In a panic, I checked the Better Business Bureau and left messages with three auto carriers with "A" ratings. Only one called back immediately---AM/PM----and that's when my life returned to normalcy. Danny gave a two-day range for pick-up-----IT WAS PICKED UP ON THE SECOND DAY----oh yeah---HE CALLED TO LET US KNOW (We didn't have to call him.). Danny gave a five-day range for drop-off-----IT WAS DROPPED OFF ON THE SECOND DAY---oh yeah---THE CARRIER CALLED US THE DAY BEFORE IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED, THE MORNING OF THE DAY IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED TO NARROW DOWN THE TIME, AND THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE ARRIVAL (We didn't have to call him. They have this thing called a cell phone, and they use it:). I highly recommend this company.

Avoid at all costs, untrustworthy business. Car damaged when received and they would not cover the cost. I would give them a lower rating if the review system allowed it.
