Joe and team are amazing to work with. Not only are their prices fair but the quality of work is superior to other companies in the area. We worked with Joe on a tree in our front yard and you can't even tell a 80 yr old tree was ever there. He also just finished an insurance project at my grandmothers and he handled it so wonderfully. We will be customers for life! Only one tree service in my eyes. Thank you Joe!

Joe and the S.H. Tree Service Team did a beautiful job removing 2 very large invasive Norway Maples, from our historic East Ave property. The Rochester Preservation Board granted us permission provided we grind the stump, regrade, and reseed. We got 3 quotes, Joe’s quote was very reasonable, in the middle, but included everything! We were not in a hurry, so set a flexible date, and communicated with Joe and our tenants as we got closer to Oct 4-5th. Joe & his team’s work over 2 days was very considerate guests, tenants and neighbors, very safe, professional, sensitive to preserve the adjoining yard, and clean up was better than expected from typical typical contractors. Joe even returned after we paid the bill to apply more grass seed where he had said he ran short!
We were very impressed, would hire Joe & Team again, and highly recommend S.H. Tree Service to anyone who needs professional help with their trees! Thank you, Ed & Tom

Joe worked to remove a stand of bamboo in our yard and trimmed a redbud for us. The bamboo was behind that tree. If you know anything about bamboo, you know how difficult that is. Joe worked for 2 days to do this job, using machinery and hacking at the bamboo remnants with an ax. It's gone and covered with topsoil. The tree looks great too. Joe is a hardworking guy and his fee is reasonable. I've already recommended him to a friend!

Joe trimmed 6 trees on my property today and he did a great job. He is the first “tree person” who knew how to trim them properly. He cleaned up the debris and took it all with him. He is a professional and very knowledgeable. I would not have anyone else take care of my trees and shrubs. His work is top notch.

Joe and his crew were wonderful! Joe did exactly what was written in his contract, and more, all while being respectful and polite. The cleanup by this crew was amazing! They even cleaned parts of our neighbor’s yard that sawdust blew into.
