I will never book a load with Ascent because of Arissa Sawyer. We agreed on a load with pickup appointment at 6 PM. They called us at 5 PM, and they canceled the load on us without reason just telling us that when they called to check if this driver is good for pickup no one from our office picked the phone up which is not true, and we told them at 3 PM when they called us that our driver is rolling towards the shipper, and we are all good for pick up on time. Carriers, I will suggest you don't waste your time with folks like this!

Wrongly charged us $100 for "not accepting tracking". Throughout the load, no one ever called us to tell us that our driver wasn't tracking on their tracking. However, my driver claims he never got a link to accept tracking. Ken DeBlassie, very unprofessionally, first tried to tell me that it is the carrier's dispatcher's responsibility to make sure the driver accepted tracking.. there is no way for us to know if our driver is tracking in their system or not. Then he said that there is a special "carrier link" tracking we had to download and accept, which he claims is on the rate con. I've emailed him numerous times now asking where it says that on the rate con (it's not there) and he fails to respond. Uncooperative and extremely shady/unprofessional!!!

broker needed a truck asap , they call us asking us to pick up a load asap and deliver straight thru from GA to OH , we accepted the load , we told them that drivers phone not tracking it is older phone and not compatable with tracking apps, we were told that there will be NO charges because of tracking as long as we give them updates every few hours , a lot of other brokers keep their promisses !!! we gave them updates , delivered the load on time and we GOT CHARGED A 100$ FINE FOR NOT TRACKING. how is that ok? i asked to speak to a manager and i was ignored
