I rented from this place beginning in September of 2018. Ii was assigned a storage unit and when I went to put my things in it it was full of trash, broken light bulbs, curtain rods, dirty clothes, and various other items. I went ahead and cleaned it up before I moved in because there in no on-site staff. I put my belongings in the unit but did not have a lock with me so I left it unlocked ( I wasn’t too concerned about anything being stolen). I went by it today to get some things I needed and found my storage unit locked although I am in good-standing as far as payment goes. The new owner informed me that because some units were being broken in to, they installed locks on unlocked units. The new owner was unable to provide information concerning the combination to the lock so I was unable to access my belongings. They did not offer any solution and I live 60 miles away. I told them that they had my contact information and it would have been prudent for them to contact me and let me know that I should provide my own lock or at the very least, give me a combination to the lock they installed at the time they did it. I asked them to meet me so I could move out and they didn’t know when they could. So, in essence, I am paying to store things that I have no access to with no solution. Horrible customer service

Rented a unit for 4 months on back side - complained about water issues couldn't get in building without wading water- then was broken into lost $3000 worth of tools and household items. No security cameras- mentioned pass codes because person had to come in thru gate. No lighting. So moved to more secure location.
