The only reason they are getting one star is because the delivery guys were awesome! Had it not been for them, this company would have gotten a negative 100! There was not one person in the office that can understand and follow simple instructions. First, we asked them to call when they were 2 hours out so that I could be there on time. They did not relay this important piece of info to Josh or Jaylan. Then they were supposed to call me rather than the purchasers.. the purchaser lives out of state; but they called her. The delivery was to a condo complex where we have to schedule and be present for deliveries. They gave us a timeframe of 2pm - 11pm. Ok, so I live an hour away and was planning to be there an hour prior to the scheduled delivery when I received a phone call that they were 30 minutes out. This was 11:15. 1 hour and 45 minutes before the scheduled time. Once I got there and the gentlemen unloaded the first piece of furniture, I was sure they had delivered the wrong piece. The leather sofa was beige! We ordered 2 light grey leather sofas. Expensive sofas.. after going back and forth between my family, who made the purchase and the company we purchased from online, we finally determined that basically it was false advertisement. The online listing stated that the sofas were light grey, but when I spoke to the cs rep from that company he stated that they are more of a beige / grey. Regardless. I was having to send photos to the cs rep via e-mail and to the purchasers to determine what could be done to remedy this. The lady from the office of Sun delivery took it upon herself to call the company to confirm that we had received the correct shipment! She had no idea what the situation was and proceeded to tell me that I got what I ordered and that she needed to get her delivery boys back on the road. I advised her that we had made a large purchase and that I was not going to accept a delivery of $4000k plus dollars of merchandise just bc she is more concerned about her delivery schedule. I could not believe that she felt that it was her place to interfere with my negotiations with the company that I had purchased from. However, the company was not very helpful or apologetic for the fact that they falsely advertised their product and proceeded to charge a 50% restocking fee if we returned the sofas. We kept the sofas and are in the process of negotiating with them based upon false advertising. While all of this is going on, the boys, Josh and JayLan were fantastic. They were more than understanding and patient. They agreed with my decision to pursue this to the end bc they could clearly see that it was false advertisement. They saw the pics from online and the sofa in person. I only regret the fact that I did not have time to stop and get cash for a tip on my way bc the office lady (who I regretfully missed her name) grossly misquoted the delivery time. Through conversation with the boys I found out a couple of details that you might find disturbing.. Sun delivery requires these boys to sleep in the truck when they are away from NC for days at a time working hard to make customers happy. While they were there, this lady called them no less than 8 times, micromanaging our progress and giving them grief (as well as me) for the longevity of our stop. And then, the kicker is that when they were leaving they commented that they were only 7 minutes past the scheduled departure time originally scheduled!!! So all of this grief and micromanagement so that the next stop could be delivered on time rather than 2 hours early! WHAT!?!? Bottom line is, the ladies in the office are not listening to you when you give instructions and they will not do as you ask. They will track the delivery boys (via phone & truck GPS) and give them a hard time if they are moving fast enough, all the while making them sleep in a truck! Horrible working environment, I felt so bad for those great kids that delivered!

I just had a 400# table delivered and assembled by the Sun Delivery team. Their execution was virtually flawless. Despite having a very large truck, they expertly navigated down my 1/4 mile driveway. They unloaded in a neat, precise manner. Their assembly, method and manner were exceptional throughout the entire encounter. Product is perfect, delivery pristine and very timely. This company deserves 0 stars. I used horchow to purchase a mirror for my dining room and unfortunately horchow uses sun delivery as their “white glove service.” This company has held my mirror hostage for over 2 MONTHS and refuses to contact me to schedule a delivery date!!! Every time I call them, there is no update and they refuse to call me back. This is the first review I’ve ever written on google because I’m just THAT frustrated. I’ve even memorized my long annoying order number by heart that’s how many times I’ve attempted to call and leave voicemails. Part of my weekly routine is calling sun delivery and it’s literally on my calendar as a reminder. My next step is to abandon the mirror and request a refund from horchow due to the utter stupidity of sun delivery not being able to schedule a delivery. It’s a shame because they have the item in their hands, and I’ve waited patiently all this time since Feb. since it was originally back ordered. I warn you, before you order any furniture, please check who the delivery company is.. and if it’s this company, there is a good chance you won’t receive your item and that this is a scam!

I never leave reviews and I know we hear that a lot but omg between Neiman Marcus and this company they use for their delivery is by far the worst I have experienced for any business. I ordered a dining seating in December they pushed back delivery multiple months. Here I am in May and still no delivery. Sun delivery left a message stating “they cannot work my delivery in the scheduled date they will call back to schedule a different date, they are canceling my delivery that was scheduled” and never called back to reschedule, never return my multiple messages to reschedule the delivery. Take warning do not order anything from Neiman Marcus they use Sun delivery company and you will never get your purchased item. They never answer the phone and do not return calls. I will make sure I ask who the vendor uses for delivery before another purchase anywhere. By far the worst business I have ever dealt with ever.

I had a great experience with Sun Delivery and their customer service team. While I acknowledge the website didn't have a ton of detail, I got quick and accurate responses from customer service when I emailed. Once the delivery was scheduled, everything happened as promised- I got a call the night before, a half hour before, and the delivery team arrived when expected. The delivery team was great- they quickly and carefully put together the table and took away all the trash. They even spent extra time with me showing me how to extend the table (more than once) so that I felt comfortable doing it myself. I had a great experience with Sun Delivery!

Absolutely horrible communication that made it impossible to finalize delivery details without outside intervention from the furniture store where I made my purchase. The only saving grace was the kindness of the delivery team.
I received a text a couple weeks ago saying Sun Delivery had my furniture and was ready to schedule delivery. I clicked on the link in the text to confirm the appointment, only to be told that I had to call since a 35' truck will not fit in my building's parking lot. That's perfectly fine and understandable, if someone ever actually answered the phone.
I spent the following week calling and emailing Sun Delivery but to no avail. I called 17 times (I counted) and was told that customer service was unavailable every single time (I always called during standard business hours). I left a couple messages and never heard back. I only got an email response because I reached out to the store where I purchased my furniture, and they in turn reached out to Sun Delivery asking them to respond to me. Not that the email addressed any of my concerns, of course.
The day before the delivery, I received an automated call with the four hour delivery window. I pressed the button to speak to customer service and once again was sent to voicemail. I responded to the email I had received from Sun Delivery to confirm that they were aware the 35’ truck would not fit. The person I was emailing with responded the morning of the delivery asking if I had told them as much on the phone. If only someone had ever answered the phone I would have gladly told them! This person said they would email to let the delivery driver know.
Later that day when the driver called to say they were close, I asked if he had been told that the truck would not fit. His exact words were “No they did not.” So despite my multiple efforts to communicate with Sun Delivery to ensure a smooth delivery, they failed at every moment to successfully communicate with both their customer and their own personnel. Luckily I was able to work with the driver to find a nearby parking spot, and both of the delivery guys were very kind and considerate when bringing my furniture in.
This experience caused so much stress that I asked the furniture store to send the rest of my order via a different delivery service. Thankfully they were able to accommodate this request. It is just so frustrating because the delivery team was amazing, but the front end customer service was impossible to work with.

I can’t say enough about sun delivery. Even the outside of the truck was spotless!! The men were very nice, very helpful, very friendly and above all very professional!! My new leather couch arrived wrapped in new quilts and layers of plastics! The couch was carefully brought upstairs positioned properly. All traces of packing materials was removed. My furniture was placed back where it was. These men were excellent knew their jobs. We’re professionals. I would not only use this company again but would recommend them to everyone

Our experience this past weekend with Sun Delivery white glove delivery service was wonderful. We heard from them earlier in the week to confirm delivery date. I also spoke with them the morning of delivery to verify time of delivery and they called when they were within 1/2 hr of our home to advise how far away they were and expected time of arrival. They were here within 1-2 minutes of that time. They brought the item in, set it up, removed all packing materials and were very courteous. If you ever order furniture from a site near Charlotte, Hickory or Thomasville for direct shipment to your home, I encourage you to use Sun Delivery White Glove service....I definitely would.
