Yesterday (12/27/24) I needed to find a place that could print a simple 9-page PDF file in an unusual size — European A4 paper. I needed a hard copy that could then be notarized and signed — and I had to send this original, signed paperwork to Switzerland before 12/31/24. I visited or called a few copy shops downtown that were either closed, didn’t have A4 paper, or simply didn’t answer the phone. In desperation, I googled while driving around, found Autumn Press on the map and saw it was open till 6:00pm. I arrived there around 4:50 pm (Friday) and 3 people were still in the office area — right before the weekend between Xmas and New Year’s!! I explained my unusual request to Manuel and he assured me they had the right paper and could print my file. He had Dan work on this and within 20 minutes they printed out 2 copies of my file. Manuel refused to let me pay for this job (10 pages total) — and they even gave me about 50 extra sheets of A4 paper in case I needed to make more copies on my home printer. These folks clearly specialize in huge, complex printing jobs given the machinery I saw and the size of their office/work space. But they went out of their way to print my tiny file from my thumb drive — right before the end of their work week!!

Manuel even suggested notaries that I could use. Fortunately I got my file notarized at UPS — then I went home and using the extra paper Dan gave me, I made copies of the pages with my signatures + the notary stamp and signature. I barely had enough time to drive to FedEx in Emeryville and get it processed for shipping to Switzerland — it should arrive at the destination by 12/30/24. Given the holidays, the weekend, etc., Autumn Press really came to my rescue and I am forever indebted to them for helping me get this file printed. A little post Xmas miracle.

I really recommend working with Autumn Press for your printing needs. We recently needed a complicated rush order handled and wanted a union shop. They were very personable to work with and the order came in on time and looking beautiful. There was a hiccup along the way, but Theresa and her team handled it gracefully and quickly. The order was for some high-impact meetings on our end and we were very pleased with the quality of the work from Autumn Press.

I've been printing a bi-monthly newsletter with Autumn Press for 10 years. They have always produced beautiful work, on time and have been very responsive and flexible with my printing needs. Miguel is an amazing printing liaison and Mike in prepress is also very kind and easy to work with. Any time I stop by, the entire staff is welcoming and answers any questions I have. The website is extremely easy to use. Autumn Press even does the mailing. I highly recommend! Love these guys.
