I’ve been sending my trucks to Southland Transportation Group – Huntsville, AL for the past couple of months, and I can confidently say the experience has been nothing short of excellent.

From the start, their team has provided top-tier service — advising me on issues, keeping me updated on repair progress and parts status, and most importantly, following through on everything they said they would do. What stands out most is their reliability and commitment to timeframes. When they say a truck will be brought in or worked on, they mean it — and they deliver.

Just recently, I had a truck towed in due to a sensor issue triggering a stop engine code. I reached out and asked if they could take the truck in around 2:00 PM on a Friday — a time when most dealerships wouldn’t even consider it. Not only did they accept the unit, which arrived around 2:30 PM CST, but they also immediately began working on it. They even stayed beyond regular hours to get the job done and get us back on the road.

As someone who manages a fleet with multiple LT625 units, I’m beyond grateful to have found a service center that’s honest, dependable, and stands by their word. Thank you again to the entire team at Southland Huntsville — your dedication truly makes a difference.

Really fantastic and knowledgeable customer service. Was able to squeeze me in at the end of the day as they promised before I arrived. The mechanic on my truck, Aaron, really went above and beyond for me, even after closing he came back off hours just to ensure my truck had no faults, no light, and no further problems after a DPF fix and a long regen. 10/10 would definitely use them again.

You must know the work you did was low grade. I had to come back and get fix. Also i thought greasing the 5 wheel go alone with a PM. I do hope that you did grease the rest of my truck

No matter the issue you will wait 1-2 weeks just to be seen. You will not get any calls for updates on your equipment.Not to mention ridiculous upcharge pricing for parts. Funny thing is I was actually working in the area and called for an update on Monday after they said Wednesday that they would check it out first thing Thursday morning. I had been working in the area the whole time and the truck hadn't moved. The told me on the phone that it was in the shop and they were checking it as we speak. While I was passing by looking at it sitting in the parking lot. What a joke!

They have had our truck for 7 months and it is still not fixed. They have fixed a million other things, including the rear end that went out while THEY were test driving what they had fixed!!!! You have to wait for 3-4 weeks for parts and then they are not the right parts and wait longer. Then when they finally get the parts, you have to wait on a bay to open and a mechanic! This place is a JOKE!!!! Very expensive and very unprofessional! Will never take our truck back here, that is if we ever get it out of there!!!!!! They don’t care how much money they are costing us to have our truck sitting there waiting on parts or waiting on a bay to open! We only took it here because our mechanic thought the issue was internal computer stuff that he couldn’t fix. Everything they have fixed so far he could have fixed a lot faster and cheaper. Just unbelievable how long they have kept it and it’s still not fixed. Do not use this company!!!!
