The good/great reviews are from before Slate Real Estate took over these apartments, within the last year. When Premier Management owned them, you could go month to month after a year, rent was fair and affordable. Those are the good reviews. Different management company, Slate, takes over and right away raises the rent by a lot! I chose to not renew a lease with them.
Another rental agency making it totally unaffordable for good, hard working people that reside in these apartments. The appliances are not stainless steel nor are they high end, no granite countertops or ceramic tile floors. The rent will continue to go up so be cautious and prepared if you decide to sign a lease here. Month to month leases only available for hundreds more. These apartments used to be sought after because they were affordable for just a basic apartment, they won’t be anymore.

I currently live here. Moved in 2019 when Premier owned the buildings. Slate Real Estate bought out Premier last year. Our lease got upped an additional $200 dollars at the end of 2020. Our lease is now being upped another $200 starting in June. Which now makes our rent $1325/month if we sign a year lease. Nothing has been updated, the rooms are small and good luck in winter! They do an awful job at plowing the parking lot! Not to mention the pot holes all over too! Horrible management and horrible company to rent from! I do not recommend!!

Slate recently bought these apartments and my only advice is to RUN. These apartments are outdated, they do not plow or salt the sidewalks in a timely manner, nor do they fix things but they don't hesitate to keep raising the rent. You'd think these are high class apartments with the price tag but Slate is nothing better than a scummy slumlord.

They have a bot that schedules appointments for viewings for them even when there is nothing available to view. I took a day off work to view an apartment just have them cancel 2 1/2 hours before the appointment. I called and was told they didn't have any apartments available. I asked why they scheduled and they said it was the bot. They took no responsibility.

Quiet neighborhood. The sunrises have been awesome lately. This is the perfect location for a 35min commute to Stevens Point or 15/20 to Wausau. The easy access to the expressway makes this a great location.

Wouldn't want to live anywhere else! Quiet & nice area with lots of grass for being outside for doing things, as well as kids or pets. Extremely spacious, washer & drier included, great deck & porch space as well.
