Very nice clean high end grocery store. I got a cherry pie at the bakery which was actually good. First time I found a good pie in the Portland/Vancouver area. Not sure why the Pacific Northwest doesn't have good pie. In the South good pie is everywhere. What's wrong with you people? Pie is important. 😜

Chucks Produce is the best. Every single time I go there, the associates are always helpful and friendly. Some items are a little higher than the larger grocery stores, however, the quality, especially for meats, produce and fresh bread is worth the extra price. Every week they have great sales and specials, some of which are not mentioned in their ads. Tuesday is senior Discount and Wed is military discount so I usually come out cheaper and there's no need to download digital coupons.

Take a Trader Joe's and turn it "upscale." Welcoming lighting as you walk in the door, and to your right beautifully displayed produce. Lots of it, with a great selection. To the back of the store, a butcher counter, fish counter, and beautiful baked goods. Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. So much to look at and shop from.

Now look at your receipt. You'll see it's just a little more than your "average" markets... And worth every penny- even for budget watchers like us.

A very, very cool shopping experience.

Fabulous store! You name it, they have it, they have items I’ve never heard of before, and I consider myself someone who cooks a lot.
Every aisle has great items, if you want to be creative and cook, they have you covered, if you want to grab something already prepared, they’ve got you.
Great beer and wine selection. Beautiful bakery!
Produce galore!
Well done Chucks!

Nice employees, clean store.

Went in to get things to make large sandwiches.
Produce selection was nice. Well organized & stocked.
My partner was by the deli & someone politely offered him help pretty quickly. A very nice woman.

The store doesn't feel crowded & fairly open the way it is set up.

Very impressed by the olive bar items being covered.

Like most health food stores, prices are pricey.
If you poke around enough you will find an item that's cheaper here than elsewhere or maybe an item you can't get anywhere else.

I was happy to find Italian Volcano Lemon Juice & a delicious chocolate creme pie. They also had soda, so I didn't have to stop off at another store.

Always a fun shopping experience! 👍🏼

The produce is fresh, and there is a huge selection to choose from. Almost everything is local, too, which always is a plus in my book.

I also love the bakery section, in which you can get super yummy treats; single serving slices of pie, mousse, cake, bread pudding, and so much more, to whole speciality cakes, cupcakes and tarts, as well as a variety of different types of bread, bagels, croissants, muffins, etc. Gluten-free and vegan options are available to you as well.

They also have food to order that you can either eat right there or take home. Their choices are awesome; truly something for everyone. There is a deli section, as well as make your own salad bar, which is probably my favorite option to get with a warm bowl of soup.

Last but definitely not least is their health and wellness section in which you will find a huge selection of vitamins and supplements, specialty herbs, essential oils, and lots of unique products.

This is a store that is worth going down ever aisle because you never know what kind of treasures you are going to find! 😊

Chuck’s Produce & Street Market is such a cute grocery store! I love going there! It’s a very clean and organized store. I love the little wellness section of the store with all of organic and non toxic, healthy products! Their flowers are beautiful and have great prices! I love the restaurant, there, too!

I started shopping at Chuck’s in 2019 and I thought it was one of the best stores I had ever shopped in.
I was excited to move to Vancouver because I knew I would have a great grocery store for supplies. Sadly, after I moved, I discovered the store had been sold to new owners.

Sadly, the quality of everything has dropped through the floor. The employees that work there now seem to be unhappy and unmotivated. What the heck happened?

They used to have a great hot bar, but that is not so hot anymore. Food look sloppy, and that staff who used to be so friendly and warm seem to be sad and disgusted and unmotivated to give good service.

Whatever the new owners are doing now, I would suggest they do a good, hard think about what GOOD Service means and how to motivate their employees to provide that to
a once loyal customer base.

And what happened to the once great butchers that worked there? You can barely get someone to answer a question now.

Many others are complaining about how crummy the bakery is now when it used to be wonderful.

Business can only survive so long on a past reputation.

I hope that things turn around soon. I’ve already cut my visits down to about once every two months, when I used to go twice a week.
