Stay away from American Auto Shipping! Being acknowledged on Cars.com does not mean anything. If I paid them enough, they would probably let me market myself as a mechanic with no prior experience.

I had a highly disappointing experience from start to finish with AAS. Customer service was completely unresponsive once their vehicle pick-up period had passed — I couldn’t get through to anyone despite multiple attempts. I paid upfront for vehicle delivery, gave them preferred pickup date, and yet the vehicle was never picked up. Two days after their pickup 7 day pick up window (almost two weeks after preferred shipping date) I received an email from “accounting” instructing me to dispute the charge, without offering any explanation or reason. Now I’m left having to start the entire process over.

What’s even more baffling is how they managed to secure such positive Google reviews. I guess it can’t be trusted. After doing a bit of digging on other review platforms, it became clear that the reality is far different from what’s portrayed. Do your due diligence.

I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice and look beyond the surface of their Google ratings.
