Had the pleasure of training at Team Flo for about 2 months before I had to move away and it became too far for me to commute to but during the short time there everyone was extremely welcoming and made me feel like family. The atmosphere is awesome, the training is intense, the gym is clean and the coaches and owners are respectful and knowledgeable. If you want to be surrounded by people who will push you to become better and at the same time be your friend this is the place. The schedule of training is also really nice with the options of morning and night classes to fit whatever works best for you. Wouldn’t ever hesitate to go back if I ever move close by again.

I walked in early last spring and was amazed at the operation Chris runs. He and those that assist him are extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I can’t say this enough if you have been thinking about doing jujitsu or even wonder what all the hype is about, reach out to Chris and give it a try. The process is extremely exciting, humbling and fun, Chris and all those that attend Flo jujitsu will help you on your journey. The gym has become a place I look forward to every week. Again, I can’t say this enough give Chris and team Flo a try and you truly will not be disappointed.

It is with extreme enthusiasm I write this review for Chris and my coaches at Team Flo. I have been attending classes for about a year now. I feel I have found something special. I look forward to every day I get to do this. Also, I work nights and it's not always possible to get to all the evening classes, but Team Flo has a solution to that. I have found Chris and his students to be welcoming and everyone is eager to see the TEAM succeed. Three out of the five of my family attend. It is only a matter of time that it is a complete family affair... My wife attends the women's only class with Michelle and there is plenty of space, so ladies, now is the time! Others follow when you lead. Finally, be open and approach with a beginner's mind. If you find you aren't getting what you need, take ownership of that issue. Discuss it with Chris and his team. I have found him to be open minded, informative and accommodating to newcomers, such as myself... But he cannot do the work for you. I hope to see you on the mat! Be well. Carry on!

Excellent group of people all levels. Chris (owner - instructor) is excellent to work with and everyone on the team is willing to help you grow every step of the way. We have some amazing rolls and if you want to continue to grow this is the place to be. Amazing rolls, true team training and this team is a family. When you join you are welcomed into an elite group of BJJ practitioners and get ready to roll. My son (6) and I (39) both are part of Team Flo and wouldn't have it any other way. Osss!!!

This gym is great. The coaches here don't just want to see you improve as grapplers, but as people too. The class structure is incredibly helpful. Students ask questions about the techniques learned previously and what they are having difficulties with. Then we drill the techniques. Almost like a Q&A. Whether you're a beginner, a hobbyist whose been training for a while, or a competitor, you will learn, get better and enjoy being a part of this academy

Chris is a very knowledgeable martial artist and seems to have a great adult class. However, he is shockingly inept at handling the kids' class. After 2.5 months there I pulled my son out 1/2 way through the class last night. My son was injured significantly multiple times by malicious kids while their parents watched. Frankly, he was terrified to go back on the workout floor. The kids are left UNSUPERVISED to play games while Chris hangs out in another room with the people you see here giving him 5 stars. The kids are left unsupervised in almost every class for between 15 and 30 minutes out of the one hour. My son learned no appreciable skills in his 2.5 months and gained no self-esteem, confidence, or discipline. He's now scared to join another school because of this experience. Chris will look back and think he's weeding out the weak kids who can't cut it in Jiu Jitsu. In reality he's fostering an environment where only the biggest, toughest, or meanest kids will make it. The kids who need it most will be left in the dust. My son didn't quit because Jiu Jitsu was too tough, he quit because the environment didn't allow him to engage it. Proceed with caution.

Wonderful instructor and beautiful atmosphere to be training at. Chris is the most humble and loving person on the planet. Everyone gets a warm welcoming and gets treated like family. From beginner level to expert level Chris will help you out. In addition, Brazilian Jujistu has changed my life!!!!!!

Chris, the owner is one of the most selfless men I have ever met and is ready to help you if you're willing to put in the work. The instructors and people here go hard but will never hurt you, and are more than willing to share their knowlege with you. It doesn't matter if you're a complete beginner or already know some moves, Team Flo's an amazing bjj gym.
