Salute to Cape Cargo’s customer service rep, Jay! We were awaiting a Home Depot delivery for several days and we were up against the clock. Clock was winning. Our item arrived in Cape Cargo’s warehouse just after the delivery trucks left to make the daily deliveries. We just missed it. Enter Legendary Jay of Cape Cod Bay! Within a couple of hours he had a special van loaded up with our item and on its way to us on the Outer Cape. Super professional drivers. Super professional staff. Top notch service. Highly recommend!

I am new to the area and needed boxes moved from point A to point B. Not a big job but important to me. I called a mover and they were booked up for the next several days but they recommended Cape Cargo. I called CC and was told they could do it that same day. Talk about quick service.

After scheduling a day and a time I was set. Naturally after talking to Jay to set it up the time changed. Emailed Jay. No problem.

I met the movers at the location agreed. They were early. Nick and his partner got to it. Loaded up and made the delivery. They carried all the boxes to the second floor and stacked them nicely and were quickly finished. 45 boxes and a short time later it’s done.

I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied with their performance. From the first contact to the last they were excellent.

I would have given you no stars if possible. I talked with dispatch, John this am and tried to give him a charge card for the freight he said "just give the card to the delivery guys". They arrived moved two of the items into the building and then said they would take cash only. No on in their right mind keeps that kind of cash in their apartment. Since my husband had to go to the bank for cash they put the stuff back into their truck and left. They have still not returned.
Your company was recommended by Gladstone Furniture so I went with you guys even though your rates are much higher than Cape Cod Express.
Never again. Not happy with the service and certainly not with the communication from your staff. John needs to let folks know that you do not accept credit cards or checks, only cash. Suggest all your users turn to Cape Cod Express with their business. They are helpful and allow to to prepay the freight over the phone.

When the large mirror I ordered from Ballard Designs finally came in, these people were contracted (by an intermediary) to deliver it to my house (on Nantucket, where they send delivery trucks every single day). I confirmed with them 5 days ahead that I would need to have someone open the house to bring the mirror inside. They gave me a date and told me the truck drivers would call me 1/2 hr before they were to arrive. This is standard practice - (even if they didn't want to also pick up a mirror that was erroneously delivered and needed to be picked up and returned to the company). However, no one ever called me. When I called the next day to inquire about the delivery, Kelly rudely told me the mirror had been delivered. She had notes that we were expecting the erroneous mirror to be picked up by her delivery truck people and returned to the company, but she told me she had orders not to pick it up. Even though I had confirmed this with Cape Cargo 5 days earlier. A call would have been appreciated. This is the mirror from hell for many reasons, but this company and its representative Kelly were extremely unprofessional in their part. Ignoring a customer's request, which the company had already approved, is one thing, but then rudely brushing me off with no offer to help is even worse.

We had an appliance coming with 2-men, "white glove service" delivery into 1st floor of the house, already paid, and, we had also included the haulaway of the old unit out. Then, on the delivery day, this intimidating driver called at 7am, hours before the scheduled time, and said he was alone, and, not instructed of the haulaway, or the 2-men delivery service (and he kept overriding my explanation) He blatantly said it was something to discuss between the dispatcher and I, and not him. He called again and threatened to drop it off (at the curb) as it was blocking other delivery items in his truck. The driver made their miscommunication as my burden!

Although I asked him to wait at least until I speak to the dispatcher about this mixup, he was impatient, and said he would tell the company BOSS I refused the delivery. That was total fabrication! I did not refuse the delivery at all. It was different delivery terms I had paid for through the retailer and Cape Cargo did not pay attention to this delivery terms. Later, seeing my paid service invoices, the operation manager confirmed this delivery driver was not the appropritate for us.

The manager, John Andrew, who called himself, called me immediately and apologized for the previous dispatcher who arranged the original delivery with 1-man out, but not informing me ahead of the scheduled date due to their short staffing, and he re-arranged the delivery and haulaway for 3 days later.
John promised he would inspect the new appliance, and would send me pictures, once returned to their warehouse that day, to make sure the new appliance was not damaged from the unsuccessful trip. But, he or other dispatchers never contacted me. I left 2 new messages to the dispatcher's numbers but they never returned the call, until the next re-delivery day.

On the day of the re-delivery, I called and John answered (X211). Now, without looking at the details, he flatly said his company returned my appliance!!!

And, he never contacted me all this time as if this was their retaliation, (at least I felt it from his changing tone) and John wouldn't explain why this had happened. He refused to apologize for not contacting us after the new delivery was canceled although it was him who made us wait for 3 more days.

When I pointed this out, John said that was just my opinion. His attitude changed drastically. He refused to disclose CEVA tracking information and hung up.

And, all this time, we were believing we would get the appliance that day after they had missed delivering it 3 days ago, and that is Twice NO-SHOW!

The dispatcher wouldn't disclose who had requested to return MY appliance internally, (WITHOUT MY CONSENT) while the trucking logistics company, CEVA and the retailer company I placed the order with had vigorously tried to find what was happening since the poorly organized 1st delivery attempt without 2-men White Glove Delivery, Haulaway did not happen

Now, CEVA customer service supervisor heard my ordeal and told me none of our parties had requested return and she believed us but we realized Cape Cargo had put the parallel communication after arranging the new delivery date set with us, telling CEVA logistics and the retailer to believe we were to blame, IF they did not read the detailed "off-the-record" notes, So it seems this company could bully the customers they do business with.
I hope the owner and CEVA Boston, and on-line retailers to notice this incident and reconsider working with them, as they hurt the customers, and it was unprofessional. The only way to do work with is when they change this unexplainable, RUDE behaviors.
