This company begs for the loads ahead of time, then misses their pickup appt, and then once they do take it (so you can't move it to another carrier) they somehow need 2 days to get from Ohio to NC (under 7 hour drive). We will never use them again. Absolutely the worst Customer Service if you dare send an inquiry. No explanations, no apology, just your load will be late.

It’s joke. Come wait long time 4-6 hours average they say ! Load is finish but no office people. So wait more. Then they want me to deliver on time. I do not think so.

Never do business with this place they are liars. They don't make on time deliveries. They will destroy your package. I even went to the dock to pick up my package because I could no longer wait. The staff at the location don't even know how to operate a forklift properly. Management is not around watching the workers. They Definitely break safety rules. I work for another ltl carrier near Charlotte so I know how a dock is supposed to be run this is not it. Go do business with Estes,FedEx freight, old dominion freight lines go to those carriers first. It's time for ward to leave Charlotte for good. They are trash.

This company has had our freight for over 45 days. They delivered 4 of the 11 items and then lost the rest and told us that was all they had to deliver. Miraculously they located the lost items and have said they will deliver 5 different times and have been a no show every time. The company we purchased the items from are going to physically go to the terminal to pickup our order just so we can get it. I would never recommend this trucking company to anyone. Our company ships freight daily and have never seen service like this even with all the shortages.

I get things are slower now, but the Charlotte terminal has had our product for over 40 days- that’s correct over 40 days. We have been on the phone with their customer service people multiple times and they’ve missed multiple scheduled deliveries. It’s still sitting on one of their trap trailers. They do not deserve one star. We are located approx 90 mikes from this terminal right off of I-85. There is no excuse for this lack of service.

Rarely are they on time. But this time they couldn't get two packages from Raleigh to Winston-Salem in a week and a half. Poor Mr. Ward that started this company in 1931 must be rolling over in his grave. The only thing worse than their deliveries is their customer service. Useless! One star is a stretch but the lowest I could give!

Bad drivers and worst service, they lie to you all the time. They said my business parking lot was too much, meanwhile every other shipping company is fine with it. They also lied about attempting to deliver

Product showed sitting at their terminal for over 2 weeks now. No delivery. Multiple phone conversations with terminal to attempt to get scheduled. No returned calls. I'm told it's scheduled then it don't deliver only to call back and it's NOT scheduled and still sitting in Charlotte. I finally Had to contact the shipper to get them to ship out another order using ANYTHING BUT WARD!
